's alright. I was meaning to update this week anyhow, except work has just been an utter bitch. And Stellaris and Fallout New Vegas have also been competing for time.

Incidentally this means I can put Fallout on the list. :V

... Of course that doesn't mean Generic-SI is alive. It's just Generic-SI isn't dead. I know that sounds confusing but trust me everything'll make sense eventually.

Anyways while this thread is still kicking I'm going to say a few things.

I've got a rough outline written out already, so now all I have to do is fill things in. I'm probably going to continue to ask for help in this thread if/when googlefu fails me because there's a lot of shit I only half remember. As an example it's been years since I've watched Star Trek or Stargate so yeah.

Updates have been slow because of work and steam sales. Sorry about the wait.

Finally someone roll me five d20s so I can decide which verses are going to be next. I've already decided the next two so these are going to be for funsies.

i thought it was more, there is a mindscape thing, Generic is unconcious there, while the overmind is at the controls.

In 1 he's going to be mistaken for one thing, in 2 he's going to be mistaken for another, 3 depends entirely on where he lands, in 4 he's going to mistaken for a different thing, and in 5 he's going to be mistaken for something else entirely. Misunderstandings all around!

Also, he's fucked. None of these things are good things to be mistaken for.

I may end up cutting it short because it's going to be the Worm/Westeros problem times ten thousand because it's that kind of setting.

Also honestly I remember very very little about the setting so I'll definitely ask for help when it comes down to it.

... The next two settings are actually going to be fun to write about though. One's fucking shrouded because the devs literally wrote the plot on a napkin and the other one's going to be 'interesting'.

Surprisingly enough, Halo has a very engaging story if you pay attention and dig past the surface.

For the second I think you should go the way that a Full Metal Alchemist/Starcraft cross did where they made a sapient yet low level strain full of individuals to communicate with people.

That's actually going to be Generic-SI's go to plan if it ends up just plain out classed or if there's nothing in that world that's 'useful'. Just make a mad dash for the creepy Xel'Naga gate. Fuck sticking around for Chaos corruption or a fucking Sup Com commander or anything along those lines.

... Unless the gate's in an area where Generic-SI is forced to stick around or if the gate's hidden or some nonsense like that.
