I like the implication of being able to "lean back" on the government. At least this particular kind of interference doesn't leave us completely without leverage.

Kinda plays well if we look at it like we're trying to reconcile Musabayev with their own countrymen. :V

[X] Accept Quebec Outsourcing (Further ties with Quebec. Deeply unpopular, guaranteed success.)

Honestly I'm willing to take a popularity hit for that guaranteed success, we've had too many curve balls already so let's go with a sure thing.

I'm still amazed that there's a quest at all that takes place in Central Asia. Is this a first for both SV and B?

Also more importantly, huge congratulations on your wedding. Hope it was a gud 'un, boss.

Hmm. Yeah, okay, Quebec is out of the question and I don't want to limit our success and spend precious remaining budget on marked-up prices for barely-adequate assembly lines, so it's down to politics or corporates getting a hand in things.

And of the two, honestly, I prefer the politics for the simple, brutal reason that big corporations can be really fucking stupid about chasing short-term profit in unsustainable and self-destructive ways. Now yes, that's not to say that politicians can't also do incredibly stupid things, but there's a much wider variance on how and why they do stupid things, and they don't interate strongly towards the same central "burn down the farm to get out one good crop" incentive that corpo interests always seem to fall back on. The fact that we'll be able to lean back is good too, but it's mostly the fact that I just trust government interests to be less consistently stupid and toxic than corpo ones that sells me on it. The fact that they specifically give us things like "political pressure to move us up the waiting lines on parts" and "advice on making sure this doesn't happen again" is also something I consider more valuable than just a blunt-force wad of Money.

Therefore...

Hmm. Could we do the Quebec option and also light our remaining budget on fire to increase worker pay and standards?

Sorry about the delay, I got married on New years Eve.

Congratulations! Glad you're doing well and glad this is back!

[X] Limit orders, raise prices, and reinvest in production lines. (Limits success, eats remaining budget. Hazard [4-2] = 2 Hazard)

This is what the extra budget is for and we don't have any Hazard, we can eat 2. Besides I want to keep things in house as much as possible. If we wanted government shenanigans we should have gone for NASA. Thought it'd still be better then. Quebec or foreign investors.

I think I'd rather have a government meddling than a corporation meddling. It's easier to influence a government, and a less egregious kind of dumb.

Yeah, I'd vastly prefer the government over corporate investors or getting involved in post-war politics.

Miners and maintenance personnel alike love the K-111, and orders are flooding in.
On a happier subject the underlined bit is likley what is gonna keep the K-111 on the market for a very long time. Easy maintenance is cheap maintenance and if we authorize the open sourcing off all the parts needed to repair it when we cut off offical support we could see K-111s in use a good century from now due to small family workshops Artisan building spare parts.
