Final Fantasy XV - The legend meets its match

So, do days taken(when you camp etc) affect the storyline?

If I spend 37 days in the wilderness, then come back to the main storyline bad thing aren't going to happen?

You can spend a functionally infinite amount of time out in the wilderness training

it doesn't change the storyline when you get back to doing the plot

FFXV has a somewhat floating timeline in its front half. There's the impression that they are on some kind of schedule, but it's fairly generous due to the implied distance they have to travel (even though in game the distances are video game scale lol).

Just the simple reality of having his sumptuous digitally-scanned-in food taken away from you and replaced with a plastic tray from the dining car with some frozen peas, mashed potatos, six soggy little chicken nuggies and a cup of milk
if you didn't bought that, you have been stuck with canned food

just the look of that can is depressing

Anyway Scarlet, I'm not putting my 'weeb glasses' because I prefer the game in its original language. It's a JRPG. The J stands for Japanese. I don't want French movies dubbed. I don't watch Italian movies dubbed. I don't watch Russian movies dubbed. Where I have the option of experiencing something in its original language, the language of its creator or creators, I will take that option.
I dunno man, ultimately you're still viewing the thing through an English filter, i.e. the subs. Unless you're Japanese I don't really think the entirety of the meaning will come through and at this point you're kind of just half assing the thing, aren't you? Reading the English dialogue, but listening to the Japanese, neither immersed in one nor the other.

Unless you turn the english subs off too and are not only listening to the Japanese dub but also understanding it in Japanese, too. In which case どぞ ford prefect-sananananananan.

Do you like, search for me talking about subbed video games just to interject, even on the topic of games you have demonstrated no previous interest in ...?

Giant Shrimp, Behemoth Steak, Zu Egg, Vanilla or Real ?

I went with behemoth meat in that quest, but only because in Lightning Returns it's indicated that behemoth actually tastes good :V

Ah

typical Japanese fantasy world, kill super dangerous monster just too see if it flesh taste good or not

the food craze in J-Fantasy setting is certainly going strong

Lol don't think too highly of yourself my dude.

Just saying, looks a little suss.

Aaaanyway, it might interest people to know that as part of the weird level of detail in FFXV that all the monsters (all of them) have a seize and weight given? For example, the regular Behemoth is a little under 70' in length and weighs almost 180 tons. Some monsters come in size variants as well, which as far as I know have no differences in statistics, they're just different sizes. There are two sizes of Behemoth King, for examples, one which is marginally longer but ten tons heavier.

This includes, hilariously, the Hexatheon. Bahamut is 435' tall and weighs over 28,000 tons lol
