Like, I just don't get it. This doesn't make any sense. We were meant to assassinate Gudao, we failed, fine.
We ended up in a Bounded Field, okay.
It's much more logical to assume someone muddled with our code and installed the pseudo-personality to make things more interesting. And personality assumes capacity to innovate and improvise and yes, lie for the sake of self-interest.

Otherwise, what? Brie was completely randomly born from killing and being killed by an unwholesome double of Medb-chan? How does that make any sense, Minerva?

To be fair, Hans only put in a directive not to do something, as opposed to directives that compel us to do things, which I'd argue is slightly less invasive.

And while this directive would making fighting him directly much harder, if we have a Servant on Servant battle it should go fine. Though I wouldn't put it past him to attack us if he feels his Servant is losing.

Hopefully we'll get to reevaluate at that point instead of Rabbit just going ahead and letting us get brainwashed. Also, we kind of want the directive to not harm Hans removed as long as it doesn't compromise the rest of us, so it might be worth negotiation.
 
Like half of you need to calm way the hell down. We can tell her we won't get in her way and mean it absolutely. Its not like we have any great love for him, beyond residual memories.

I mean, forced to pick between Hans and Team Doll, I'd pick Hans in an instant, but there's no reason that we have to actually say that, and since she can't read our mind, only our memories, we can get away with it.
 
I mean, just gonna point out, she explicitly stated that she was planning to fight us at the end of the grail war anyways. Even if we do promise we won't get in her way that's just 'until the end of the grail war'.
