Insane deviation from the topic as we await the next update. Basically the same as any other thread.
I think it was more that Mordred sold her soul to Alaya so Saber could get another chance at the Grail with the expectation that we'd actually win the Grail and wish for either a second chance or someone else to take up the sword. That way the timeline never happened and so Mordred gets to skip out on being a Counter Guardian.
Oh right, hehe, that, can we use Illya's wish for that and stay with Iri, maybe bring Mordred forward in time as well? Also, wouldn't ceasing to exist also be kind of a bummer for Mordred?
