Edit, it is a little too well planned for the drug heads to be behind it.
 
Problem is if they notice we're here and have enough hostages to sacrifice(read: we'll roll really badly) they might summon a daemon which will be a pain to deal with.

Despite how cynically it sounds, our job is to save humanity, not individual humans. And for this we should hoard our resources and should not push our luck.

We can't risk spookims and we know they are a credible threat based off of the weapons.

A heavy strike team or a bombing run might be best.

    You never like leaving people to die. Every Terror Class mission has been a sour spot for you.
    "Continue and search for hostages." you order the Drone Pilot.
    "Understood sir."

    Spookums exits the weapon stash and hides itself in the brush, gathering data from its various sensors. After a few minutes it beings to head towards the main house, stopping before a window looking down at the basement where you see three young children. and a women...with pointy ears. At the moment this women is embracing them as the kids are trembling in fear, all four apparently having been tortured given the burns, bruises, and cuts.
    Flying away again, the SHIV also comes across a ditch piled with dead that were tortured and branded with that strange mark. Like the swords and axes you found in their armory, they also emit this strange energy.
    You didn't have to be a psychic to feel the shock and anger in the command room.

    Vahlen reports that this energy is...psychic in nature and Bradford contacts Anette who is at their home.

    "I sense something...evil...about this...." she says over communications, "Its like those things that were in charge of the aliens but instead of being dominating they feel.....chaotic. like it wants to ruin everything in its way."

    In the meantime you have three different squads stationed in that area. Reaper Squad - Infiltration unit equipped with Ghost Armor and silenced Alloy SMGs and Rifles; Hammerhead Squad - Titan armor clad unit who wield brand new Plasma Shotguns and Heavy Plasmas; and the Storm Riders - Archangel equipped Plasma snipers and rifles.

    [ ] Reaper: We need to be precise, discreet.

    [ ] Hammerhead: We need to hit them hard.

    [ ] Stormrider: We need to act fast.
