Excommunication: Enemy Heretical (WH40K x XCOM) - CANCELED/ TO BE REWRITTTEN

I am 90% sure this "Monarchy of Anatolia" is an AU element caused by knock on effects of the Ethereal War
Well, the Emprah is supposed to have been born in Anatolia.

Anyway, things are reaching the point where it stops being cute and just a jumbled nonesense.

The introduction of chaos to the X-COM universe? Awesome!

Eldar? Sure, why not? Plus, I like the LCB references.

Adding tyranids into the mix? Eh... I think it was fine without them, but sure.

Orks? Okay, orks are always awesome, but this is starting to become a bit much... Not to mention that their following the commander is weird.

Now, Rowboat Girlyman, direct references(and unsubtle indirect ones) to the God-Emperor everywhere... (not to mention that the Emprah always operated in the shadows until he united Terra and launched the Great Crusade, so was unknown)

PLZ STAHP. Not to say that you can't introduce those elements, but come on, now you're just throwing one thing after another onto the pile at break-neck speed. I feel it would have been better to pace yourself, let us slowly get into a routine of trying to find more about chaos as X-Com, trying to come to grips with what the Eldar are, and THEN when we've hit a steady pace hit us with a curveball like the 'nids.

@inirlan sorry about the pacing. I intended to basically have XCOM essentially getting overwhelmed by the shitstorm happening but I'll dial it back if you like.

Just need an explanation as to why everything from 40K is suddenly showing up.

The mystery of why everything 40k is piling onto XCOM!earth is part of the plot. The very first post had baldy say we got THREE different aliens walking around earth.
If its any consolation, the next post I hope will clear some (not all) of what is going on. Hint: remember what Rohnan said.

Hint: remember what Rohnan said.
Let's see:
"Eldar. Your space-elves' as your collective information cesspit has put it. We had an empire, we lost it; some want it back, others like me and Taldeer had heard of your world, how it is free of our enemies' all-encompassing inqusitions , genocidal crusades, total consuming migrations. New Ulthuan has been founded some star-systems away and we have prepared for when our enemies find us."
So the Temple Ship blowing sky high along with these guys setting up shop right next door probably pulled a fair amount of attention X-COM Earth's way.

This quest is still kicking. Just wanted to let everyone know that something has come up and I might need to put this or my other quests off for a few days.

Okay I'm back. If you've been following me I've just updated my RWBY x Rosario quest and will be getting back to this ASAP.

If you've read what happened with my True Human Faction Empire Quest then you would know why I am cancelling this. If you don't know then let me explain by saying that I lost my notes as in the plot and general direction of this and True Human Faction. While I can 'wing it' with my other quests it is not worth it for me to rewrite all that I did.

I am sorry. That is all that can be said.

This is faintest outline of what I remember to have planned:

Emmanuel Anatolia really is the God Emperor of Mankind. As an eternal and true god, when the Golden Throne ultimately failed, it led to him being freed by his mortal shackles; just not in the 40k millenia. He was indeed one of the last Old Ones, akin to the Eldar and Ork Deities and time and space are irrelevant to him.
The surge of energy in his future 'death' was something he capitalized upon, sending his self back into his avatar at the point in time centuries before Mankind encounters its first alien threat: The Ethereals also known as the moment that began the creation of the first great human golden age, where Mankind's newly acquired technology base and psychic powers kick-started humanities interstellar expansion.
With knowledge of the future he ultimately establishes builds himself up as an aristocrat to noble then to king of a small European nation which rapidly expands starting in the 20th century, adding small pieces of knowledge and hints to certain notable figureheads to advance culture and technology to a level that would allow them to face and confront the Ethereal without a brutal centuries long conflict that colored them against aliens. He creates his sons earlier and actually raises them to be mostly okay.

Ynnead, an Old One 'Fetus' is finally born from the same energy of the Golden Throne failure and essentially gets the Eldar to piggyback on the rip. These future Eldar are in confict with the XCOM AU pre-golden age Eldar, both sides blinded in arrogant belief that they are in the right. Humankind and Eldar either reach a reasonable friendship (i.e. WFB or LOTR) or become locked in a cold war with Ynead and the Emperor waging a secret conflict of their patronage.

The reason the Orks follow the Commander is because he and men of the command staff went to a bar on saint patricks day, the one just the day after the Temple Ship got blown to smithereens. Long story short is that a few marauding stranded Orks got inspired by the Commander's charismatic (and drunken) personality and spread the word of the Great Big Boss Umie Kommanda after the Commander of all people manages to teach them what friendship is. Suffice to say you a chain reaction of rumors, stupidity, and extreme luck led to you either A) being deified as the third ork deity as god of da Gud Boyz or B) somehow got them to peacefully integrated into human society and irrevocably screwing over whatever plans other aliens would have for humanity.

As a result of Ynead's and the Emperor's appearance, the Necron wake up earlier than before to fight their age old enemy. The conflict is extensive, with international human forces having to besiege various tombs and crypts found on earth. XCOM squads especially take the heaviest casualties as they are the ones that clear out the catacombs. Not much else can be said. Humanity and the Aliens would continue to fight Necrons as they continue to home in on the Old Ones present on earth and new Ulthuan.

What Commander Farsight found was a treasure trove of knowledge left behind by the Old Ones about their creations: Eldar, Humanity, Orks, and...Tau. He and his loyal few soldiers fortified and created the Farsight Enclaves as to protect what secrets they now posess. With their new technology, the Enclave manages to hold out against the Tyranid invasion that destroys the Empire, using a time-space bomb that inspires the God Emperor to do his little trick. Continued use warped time and space to the point that they...like the Eldar are dragged back into 2k by Golden Throne failure. The difference is that they find themselves in the sames systems, just in the far past. Farsight proceeds to take over the primitive Tau tribes and dispose of the Ethereals (who really ARE Ethereals in disguise) as well as recruiting dozens of races all across the galaxy from the Vespid to the Dog-Soldiers. Needless to say you were surprised to find a Galactic Federation sitting on the other half of the galaxy.

Chaos like always tried to seep into this alternate time and space but is beaten back one way or the other.
Also Slaanesh hates the fact that the Commander accidentally slept with Ynead. Twice.

As you can see I had a ALOT planned. Its a shame really.

Just put it on the back burner, rewrite your notes, and as you have time or inspiration strikes, write and add more slowly. You'll either enjoy the new direction you take it, or rebuild the old one. One mess up does not mean death, it just means you may want to come back later.
