[x] "Spookums" Silent Hover SHIV with silenced Alloy Gun and Sensor Launcher

Honestly sounds like less of a loss if destroyed.

[X] Col. Hayes. Super Soldier Sniper with Hyper-Reactive Pupils, Mimetic Skin, Bioelectric skin, and Upgraded Plasma Pistol

We need to be able to sense what is happening, and we can mind control if needed.

Farm Mission part 2
[X] "Spookums" Silent Hover SHIV with silenced Alloy Gun and Sensor Launcher

Hayes isn't a psychic and even if he's been trained to resist psychic powers, you'd be more comfortable if he had a mindshield and you never had many of those to begin with. You order the SHIV to be prepped and launched ASAP.
Getting back to HQ (via Hover Car you might add), you are greeted by Bradford who was also informed on the way. Though Vahlen and Shen are off in Europe and Asia respectively, they contact you via secure feed.

"Commander I've heard of this Cult before."

"explain." you say.

"Back when I was dating Annie...AFTER the war sir...we were leaving a café when we saw this strange group of people who I at first thought were Goths until I saw the overly suggestive outfits and the morbid imagery they carried. they also had this symbol tattoed on their bodies and etched onto their clothes and signs."
He hands you a small slip of paper, with the symbol etched in pen.

This is the same image found in the Council File.

"Anything else?" you ask.

"They were...fanatical in this religion. I had originally thought that they were a doomsday cult but hearing of their weaponry and possible psychic abilities make me concerned about their intentions."

Bradford goes on saying how they had an obsession with hedonistic and self-destructive tendencies, anarchism, spreading of the latter two, and most concerning: human sacrifices.

A quick search through local police databases shows a dozen missing persons reports happening between the end of the war to this day.
As well as a recent heist at a Police Armory, as in one supplied with new Anti-Alien equipment (blame Police militarization).

With the SHIV now at the Compound you discover that it is even more reinforced with cameras, guard dogs, and enough barbed wire and electric fence to make a small prison...which it may very well be. You also happen to see that they have quad copter drones of their own. Strange.

You have a relatively short time table before your SHIV gets discovered, it can quickly get out of there but you want the element of surprise when your men raid the fortified farm.

Lets make sure that we can survive an attack before committing fully.

Are sacrifice powered bullshit a concern?

Farm Mission Part 3
[X] Search for Weapons: Do they have Plasmas? Armor?

EXALT Lasers had been a problem for you and the Council for some time, in the hands of a capable guerrilla/rebel/militant they have been....troubling. Plasma guns can make short work of light armor vehicles and certain versions of carapace armor can survive point blank rifle fire.

Weapons first. You can't save anyone if you're dead.

The Farm consists of multi-acre farmland fenced by barbed wire and electric fences. Guards and Guard dogs patrol the perimeter, all carrying the same signature and brandishing a broad assortment of hunting guns. Strangely enough there are various Watchtowers with piled sandbags and fortified shacks within the walls. What does stand out is the centtral clust of buildings comprised of a Large Barn, an equally large warehouse and an enomrous three story house that has a basement as well; this central cluster is protected by brick walls wither various symbols similar to the iconic one so far.

Spookums hovers over the farmland and begins going through the varying vision settings of its optics, IR, UV, the works. In the meantime it launches a few sensor pods using a pneumatic launcher that soon scatter and spread all across the compound.

After half a minute the Drone picks up what appears to be a cluster of Elerium signatures in the barn. Upon closer inspection there is indeed a a stash of Plasma pistols and light Plasma rifles stuffed into Police Crates. One crate appears to have been opened, the lettering indicating that they are for either a Heavy Plasma or a Precision Plasma. This troubles you as Bradford says that parts for the new Heavy and Presicion Plasma guns are interchangeable and by looks of the grease and tools scattered all over they built one or the other.
Also there is rack of automatic rifles, AKs, M16s, and couple FN FALs, the rest are hunting guns.
But what draws your attention is the set of strangely ornate medieval weapons that possesses strong unknown energy readings and-is that blood? Fresh blood is splattered all over them but the weapons seemed to be absorbing it.

Knowing enough about the cult's armament, the Drone Pilot asks if he should now push their luck and search for hostages at the risk of being discovered or to immediately withdraw.

[ ] Push your luck; search for hostages
[ ] Withdraw immediately
