I don't know if 'Beloved of Pasiap' is a normal part of Imperial address to a sorcerous Dynast. It could be. But I'm going to choose to take it as a hint to use Diamond-Cut Perfection to make a statement of speed, power, and status.

It's fancy turn of phrase meaning "Chosen of Pasiap". An Earth Aspect.

I notice that Ambraea did not offer Deiza a counter apology. Is that purely a status difference thing, or a personal choice

I don't know a lot about Exalt, basically just what's been said here in this story. Now, I get the faintest hint that being summoned by Mom her Imperial Majesty is a bit of a big deal. Showing off to make Mom pay attention to us show due respect to this great honour seems the right move. We already owe Diamond a little for showing up when we asked to help with the spirits and adding to that isn't my favorite option, but if there were ever a time to be extra, it's now.
