[Exalted, ?] Most High

[X] Remain Uninjured - No, you will not embrace this power. You haven't the need for it. Let it come in battle when you are truly injured; otherwise, you are plenty capable even without it. Maximizes your tankiness, no inhuman aspects gained.
[X] Empower Moon

But I could be convinced to switch to Brink and Funds.

Edit:
In fact, I'm not decided at all. This is just a preliminary vote.

[X] Brink of Death - Use the Scales' Health Level boost to gain a few -4 Health Levels. You will remain at the -4 wound level at all times, granting you a persistent +4 bonus to actions and +4 to all your Defenses - a tremendous bonus; you will be an unholy juggernaut in virtually any field you choose to pursue. However, you can't take many hits, assuming anyone manages to actually hit you. Not as risky as it looks, due to the nature of the Exalted combat system.

[X] Procure the Funds - You will have to write-in an option to procure the necessary funds, be it by taking a loan or stealing from some sufficiently wealthy entity (only powerful Great Houses and the very richest Threshold Nations would qualify - well, and the Realm Treasury, of course). Since you have access to powerful transportation and teleportation magics, we will simply abstract this as a Difficulty 20 Larceny roll - risky, but with only a small chance of failure if you stunt well. The Knight of Jade is by far the most powerful administrator you could acquire, given its focused specialization on the subject of Luseng, total lack of non-you commitments, and 3CD-level strength. However, if you only barely pass the Larceny roll, do not expect to escape all the consequences of your staggering heist (enough money to raise 2 fully manned and equipped Legions).

Effectively, since you'd be walking around with them all the time in order to collect that sweet, sweet dice bonus.

Seriously, a +4 persistent dice bonus is worth almost any number of Resources in 3E! There are very few other persistent die-adders and the only other one in the core book requires letting a Fae Noble do what they want to you.

Thanks for letting me know. I think it time to go balls deep guys.

The cost is that we risk getting cherrytapped this way, or if someone can break our attunement with super powerful techniques, we'll instantly die.

"Never bind yourself so closely to an object that it's loss will destroy you". That's just straight up tyranny 101.

[X] Wounded Edge
I was actually pondering this very possibility a few days ago. Seriously, permanent dice adder are really powerful in 3E, and this option shouldn't add too much risk.

[X] Procure the Funds
Thanks to Solar dice bullshit the odds are actually very good with a stunt. Let's just take it from someone who hates us already. Maybe House Cathak?

Also, I am once again extremely disappointed that that slacker Ivory doesn't know Neighborhood Relocation scheme, because literally walking(well, riding) off with someone's treasure vault would have been hilarious, though perhaps not as wise as hammerspace abuse.

[X] Empower Moon
[X] Wounded Edge

Surprisingly, I'm not that attached to these options; I was more interested in a combat-buff for Moon, and the Wounded Edge vote is... well, we spent 400,000 experience on the Scales, so it seems silly not to utilize them in some capacity, but the risk of persistently lingering at death's door and people perceiving the changes wrought by the Scales are compelling reasons not to do it.

Because hey, we've got two fanworks supporting Moon, AND it doesn't require horrendous cash money dollars or another risky roll like the one that sent Syn to hell when we SUCCEEDED. Beware the consequences of marginal success may be a theme now.

Also, all those voting for becoming Inhuman? THAT SCREWS UP BEING A SOLAR! The bonuses are nice, but if you make yourself Inhuman you can't harmonize properly with your solar Exaltation. That actually happened to a first age solar in 2E, I'd rather not have Ulyssian go down that route. It seems unwise. Probably the red option isn't as bad, but the black one should be right out. In my opinion anyway.

[X] Remain Uninjured

Our main weakness in combat was that we weren't tanky. Let's not screw that up after we just fixed it.

Unsure on second choice

For now

[X]Procure the Funds

Emerald Mountain time or we could rob House Cathak since they already hate us.

Super Tanky. Though I suppose I could see an argument to get the +4 Dice for greater workings we are doing.

Empowering Moon is ehh to me since that kinda means we have to leave her at Luseng if we leave it unless we want the city to suffer(well we could create an administrator then but then it would've meant we could just done it now form the start without essentially wasting a working.) In which case creating a SCD or the knight of Jade is better options if we want to take Moon with us.

Not really fan of hurting ourselves.

[X]Procure the Funds
Nt sure where we should reach for funds but I'd prefer to wait with Mountain for Lily to tell us it's time.

Not really. We just can't leave Luseng until we have more administrators. That's the problem. We have like 5 people maybe 10 to act as management for a city of a couple million.

I'm torn on whether to injure ourselves or not. If we'll be facing lots of celestial exalts, brink of death is pretty bad (I think, not sure whether saving motes makes up for it), because a glancing hit hit will bring us down, but if we stay in Luseng or only go out to pwn DB's and mortals then extra dice for stuff may well be worth it.

Investing more in Luseng is just a waste of time. It does not meet our win condition. But it's unlikely that anyone could be convinced to abandon it so the best option is just to get the job done with the least amount of XP and time investment.

No, Brink of Death is better for virtually any combat situation. That's how powerful persistent dice-adders are in 3E.

Cutting himself for power? Yeah, that's just a bit too edgelord for my tastes. Next he should start wearing eyeliner and mascara and put on a spiked collar and write bad poetry... oh wait he's a Solar, not an Abyssal. More practically the less human Ulyssian starts looking and acting, the less confidence he can inspire in his friends and Luseng's population. And we need their trust, loyalty, and even affection given what is likely to come. And the impact on Ulyssian's mentality that would come from such a radical distancing from basic humanity are... concerning.

As for the funds, eh, I can probably knock some kind of stunt out. Grand Theft from the Guild is kind of an obvious way of going about it.

The +4 dice would apply to our larceny attempt, correct?

You have a full Excellency, so it wouldn't benefit you at all. Your peak power doesn't go up, only your sustained power does. But sustained power is the rarer form of power in 3E.

I'm surprised Remain Uninjured is so popular. I'm literally handing you guys one of the most mechanically broken powers in 3E and you're turning it down because of aesthetic effects that you're even allowed to customize! You are sorely going to regret this come Syn, or even come Flame.

It can be interpreted as making our Attribute distribution look like:
STR 9
DEX 9
STA 9

CHA 6
MAN 6 (+2)
APP 7

INT 9
WIT 9
PER 9

Could we go with an aesthetic related to "The Sun as a force of nature, as opposed to a metaphor for human excellence,"? I don't know how that that would include, except maybe venting Solar Essence or brilliant light. Or are we limited to Goth-y things?
