[Exalted, ?] Most High

Hmm, would the Behemoth be usable for crazier use of Prophet of 17 Cycles?

It makes really crazy earthmoving possible, which has a lot of possibilities for exploiting the landscape or oh....that mountain of Jade.

If we can staunch the bleeding of the Behemoth after taming it, it would be very useful for dealing with the lava flow.

As for the Crown, the truth is surprisingly useful.
1) The vast majority of Uly's power is derived from our N/A artifact, Ambition
2) It has DRM, so most people cannot use it, even Zao. Uly was just lucky that he was born with the correct attributes (Solarness) to bypass the DRM, which was one of the reasons why Zao chose him as his heir.
3) It's an Aritfact N/A weapon capable of elevating a DB's power to match that of an Anathema
4) The visual effect is the result of using one of Ambition's evocations

This is also probably the best time to show off the crown, if we want to do so. They would be extremely happy with us for saving them from the army, as well as the effect that seeing us solo it would have. Also, by publicly using it to save lives, it would make a good impression, as compared to us using it later when we could have used it now. Of course, the hardliners would not be convinced, but its not them we need to care about, so much as the hearts and minds of those who are yet undecided or wavering.

I don't want to try taming a Behemoth as I feel it carries a too high risk for the city, but on everything else I do agree with you.

We could just comment on how our power seems to be an ability to quickly awaken and master high-level powers of artifacts. We can then leave the imaginations of people to make the assumptions of it being a freak chance bloodline power like that of Flame's and Ambition being an Artifact of immense power that Zao found but couldn't master by himself. Then he found Ulyssian, who he trained personally so that he could master Ambition, and gave it to him when his young student was ready.

Not sure if they come to the conclusion of that exact narrative by themselves, but I don't feel confident about starting to do direct manipulation attempts to shape it with Uly's lack of skills in that area.

More arguments for Containment: We can make even better different impressions if we manage to contain the damage. First, we slaughtered an army of Fae headed by titanic monstrosities and one of their fearsome Dukes. Now, we turn around what could still be a catastrophe to only a limited crisis with some collateral damage and less lives lost than they could have dreamed for.

On the other hand, if we try and succeed to tame the beast, it only shows our ability in combat situations once again. Extremely impressive still, but it would show us only in a narrow are of competence. With the Containment, we show that we are also good at leadership, and not just hitting things until they either die or submit. This might inspire greater trust from our civil officials, and thus likely make our ruling of the land more effective. Maybe.

Which option cause the least amount of damage

Master it, IF we succeed, as we can order it away from spilling more lava and even dig channel to remove it/repair the damage. If it fails(as there is a chance without flash buying or a good stunt) the damage will increase.

Organized Containment will definitely take damage to outer parts, but is most likely to succeed by default

We can flashbuy one charm and one evocation right now. I don't think that we have any evocations that would really be useful right now, since being more killy is not exactly going to be useful in this situation unless we can get an E4 evocations capable of creating trenches. If we want to get any charms to help with this situation, it would be have to be non-favoured charms, which will only help to eat up our charm slots. It might be worthwhile tho, depending on what we want. Currently cant find any charms that would be worth it tho.

If we are going for Containment, it might be a good idea to send our minders to deal with the Behemoth. Their combat ability cannot be disputed, and they were supposedly sent for combat support, so they should have no good reason to refuse that order. With them out of the way, using crown of metis would be safer. After all, while allowing others to see the Crown might invite questions, at least our minders wont get a first hand view. Who knows, if we are successful enough, the people who see the crown might not mention anything.

[X] Attempt to Master It

Command and master the beast, and through the act, gain a valuable asset much more important than the lives of a few thousand mortals.

Our friends and Waifus must always survive, but the mortals are a statistic. Who the fuck cares?!

[X] Organized Containment - It's too risky to kill the monster and let it potentially explode, so a Dragon-Blooded force will be sent to harry it, containing it within specified bounds as it continues to bleed out. Using Crowned by Metis, you will organize efficient evacuation and combat-engineering teams. Earth and Water aspects can build furrows to guide the lava flows across specific channels. Time is limited, so you'll have to sacrifice a fraction of the city to the burn, but if you do well, you can minimize lives lost. However, you will have to openly use Crowned by Metis, which could draw undue attention. Especially given your recent, distinctly un-DB-esque performance in battle.
