Yes, but we also voted for the option(s) that informs us that Humans can't be trusted, much less trusted to think of/about what is good for them/selves.

This way, we don't contribute to the overall morass, but don't risk loosing the CRADLE. Also, it's implicitly stated that the girl is not only heavily mutated (likely as not to actually be a mutant) and, more importantly, is only 16 years olds. So, a fair bit young for the thread to already be looking at as a waifu, as is being demonstrated with the woo her approach, i.e. offering compensation. Our creator, we elected to not be. I remind.

Combat risks losing the CRADLE more than offering money first in my opinion, as this is a mutant. The extent of their power is unknown, as is their potential buddies around. Destroying the computer may be easy for them or it may be difficult.

More importantly, she and potentially they as a group are potential followers with exotic powers available, a handy force multiplier.

Also I don't fucking know why you'd call her a waifu, that's pretty sick bro. They are more potential hired help.
