I would recommend playing a smaller state to get the know the game.
Spain is not available for first come, first serve claims because of its complexity after 20 turns of actions taken by former Spanish players.

My distinction is that GNW got peaced out early and apart of Russian army being beaten at Narva as per OTL, OTL destruction of Commonwealth and Russia's rapid development during war hadn't happened as of yet.

In that case main changes are:
a) Spain being dominant power in Europe as of now.
b) Franco-English alliance few hundred years earlier than expected.
c) Venice failing to decline. Moreover, we control Algieria.
d) Scandinavia being unified under Danish Crown a'la Kalmar Union.
e) Commonwealth of Two Nations being deformed into absolutist tyranny under Wettins.
f) Ottoman Turkey trying to reverse its decline.
g) HRE being divided into two blocks, Habsburg one (where formerly Austria-rulling Emperor now rules from Bavaria) and Prussian one and stuck into rivarly of dominance.
h) strong Iroquis making themselves Meiji Japan of North America.
