---

Nations that are open for sign up are listed below. I will be holding applications open until Saturday 11:59pm EST. I will consider opening more sign-up spots if interest is shown, as well as allowing people to sign up for states not listed on a case-by-case basis, if you indicate it in a sign up post in this thread or you can ask I, Cloud Strife, on the 1700s game chat on the GSRPG server.

Each nation will have a set amount of orders it may submit per turn. Policy orders represent anything under the sun a player wishes their nation to undertake outside of controlling the movement of military assets, those are covered by war orders. Players may make IC posts to influence the success of orders and once sign ups have been finalized each nation will have statistics listed to give players an idea of which each nation stands in terms of economic performance, size and effectiveness of military forces, and regime stability.

Here are results for sign ups. Any ties in first picks made were broken by random number generator. Statistics for each nation will be posted within the next 24 hours.

All states without an assigned player will remain open for selection. Please post in this thread if you are interested in picking up a spot.

The first turn will cover one in-game year. Orders are to be PM'd to me and are due by 11:59am EST Tuesday the 17th.

With that being said, the game has now formally begun. Feel free to start posting IC and conduct diplomacy in the IC thread, forum PM, or on the Discord server. Just remember to keep me updated on any decisions made for them to be counted towards influencing the game updates.

To clarify, military orders are only to be used for positioning troops, ships, or other military assets and writing strategic plans for your military forces during a conflict, such as a grand plan for an offensive. However, you can use these orders even if not at war for certain actions. For example, if you want to gain an advantage in a planned conflict you can order military forces to the borders of your intended target. Or you can reposition troops in your nation if you expect to have to quell a rebellion or uprising.

So we PM orders and IC we just write in a detailed blurb in regards to naturally acting it out yes? Making sure as to avoid confusion.
