Actually, to avoid some pitfalls, I'm going to do turn randomizers right now... So, there will be a slight delay of maximum 1 day for the update.
hmn, hmn, hmn...
Dub-de-dub-dub...
Ok, Can I get
3x 1d100
2x 1d20
2x 2d8
Standard rules apply, please no more than 1 roll per person until and unless I lift the ban.

Umn, you are supposed to cast 2d8, so, could ya please cast another? :)
If it is any consolation, the 2d8 rolls do not have any negative outcomes.

I'll take one of the 1d100.

Edit::cry::o:cry:
Hey, hey now...
No need for that.
These are randomizers, the hight of the roll doesn't matter.
I'm not saying it could not lead to a disaster, but not even I shall know it until I get all the randomizer rolls and then see what the rolls got on my further randomized lists.

I'm going to throw a d20 and then go make a god post:

Canon Omake Dmol8 - The cunning god Zhar
Zhar

Zhar's sacred animal is the Crossbill. It is said that when Zhar's mother Toquy the Winter gave birth to him after her tryst with an unknown/unremembered being she took him to a conifer forest so that he could be close to his father as well as his mother. Because for all that Zhar was an unexpected child to his parents and their tryst was an act of pure chance and lust, he wasn't unwanted or unloved. As Zhar grew he played with the denizens of the forest and found interest in the Crossbills who were a curious thing to see and play with. In his games Zhar learned of the tricks Crossbills used to get their food and build their homes. Inspired he took that knowledge and made it his own foundation. He trapped the beasts of his home forest and took their lives and their meat. Found food both hidden and not and learned why it grew and how to have it.

In those games, in time, he also ran into the people of the forest. He was overjoyed to have others than his parents to speak to with words, but most found him a terrifying overwhelming existence they did not care to stay in the presence of. Some even tried to attack him and he found them feeble and small in their actions. And some rarely talked to him, asked him who he was and showed who they were. In those rarest of peoples he found a heartbreaking truth: He was more than they could ever be and even a most intriguing conversation to them was so much less than a greeting between his parents and himself. Zhar still spoke to those people who came to speak back and taught them as much as they wanted to learn and he could teach.

One day someone found him. Someone who could speak to him with words the same way his parents did. A Kin of his mother Toquy the Winter. The Kin chastised Toquy for hiding such a vigorous lad so far in the wilderness and away from the Council of her kind. So Zhar's childhood came to an end and so Zhar entered the Council of his mother's kin.

When the Kin had brought him to the Council it became clear to Zhar from his experience that he had traded a forest of wood for one of strange huts. For his mother had looked upon her Kin the way a mother wolf with cubs at her side looks upon a bear that had suddenly appeared from between the trees. And yet the Kin was so much more one of the people of the forest than a bear. For here in this Forest of Huts, overgrown and rotten, were so many of Zhar mother's kind that were all the same like the predators of his old forest. Owls and foxes and wolves and bears and otters and more exotic beasts, each seeing his presence as nourishment and sport.

Well Zhar knew well by then the weaknesses of predators and how to find them. Noises for owls at the inopportune times meant they would be disoriented and fall on their faces. Raw strength and footprints that led them astray left foxes frustrated with him. The ability to growl the right challenge and skill enough to best the leaders of wolf packs meant that he was left alone by them. Knowing which hut was unstable and how to move about them quickly enough to dodge, but slow enough to be followed left many a bear buried under the huts for their troubles. Otters on the other hand found that Zhar was not a fish in water, but a fish in mist and as such most found him too slippery a prey for their tastes.

One day an otter played in a pool of a clearing with a tall thorn encrusted hedge as Zhar passed by walking the paths to find his mother as she had just arrived again in the Forest of Huts and he was eager to see and speak to her again. The Playful Otter called out to Zhar, introduced himself as Yuuta, and asked Zhar to come look in his pool for it was a Pool of Sight and it was focused on something interesting. Zhar came and saw. People were fighting in the pool with one another and the victors were eating parts of the defeated dead. Zhar had seen all this before in his home forest and in other Pools of Sight in the Forest of Huts. So he asked what was so interesting about this sight. And Yuuta replied that the people here were fighting for their honor. Zhar asked what was so different for this honor to be worth his attention. The answer came in the form of the passages to the clearing being barred by bears. Yuuta then said that this honor will be his as he will bring the unruly mutt to heel or to death and earn favor in the Forest of Huts for it. The bears encircled them and Yuuta attacked.

The Mountain struck and the Mist flowed around it. The Beast charged and the Vine caught it. The Fire struck back and the Bloodied Stone cracked. Then the Sanguine Daze screamed and the bears attacked the Whisper while he ran. Lightning struck between the bears and the Bloodthirsty Coward was caught in the jaws of a trap. In that moment disaster struck and the Forest of Huts was besieged by an enemy to whom the Stockades of the Council were meaningless in their defense. As the huts collapsed around them Zhar let go of Yuuta and his bears and went to seek his mother's side in defense. That day the Council fell, many of it's resident's slain, but both Toquy and her son Zhar walked away from that battle hale and healthy.

Sorry, that was...

Allow me to explain myself.
See, I don't do dick, or at least not online, can't really promise for daily life, I do have a temper.
But online? It is easy to step back, take a breath, go and do something else.

And running a quest?
I like yanking players chains in small ways over things I find funny. I've been told that that aspect of my sense of humor is not something anyone else finds funny.
Dunno, just a personal quirk of mine.

So, please, everyone, do not pay too much attention if I playact a villain.
The worst I shall ever do to you guys is counter-munchkin, and let RNG fall as it may.

Oh, it was a joke. It can be hard to tell that someone's joking just by reading text. I thought you'd just missed the fine print.

Not that I'm very good at doing that when talking face-to-face either. :V

So, If I don't get that final d20 in the next... two hours, consider the ban lifted, and someone whom has already rolled can do it.

Ok, peeps, consider the ban lifted, and remember: The sooner I get 1d20, the sooner I'll begin working on the turn 2.1

Will the marriage candidates be included in the future update, or be a seperate thing? Any interesting candidates?

Good news folks, no negative events. Nothing spectacular, but no outright negatives.

Edit, just out of curiosity, let me check 73...
Whew, dodged a bullet there.

Alright reread this quest just to see if I have all my info straight on it and found some errors in my memory. Also found some errors in writing:

Both siblings finished the oft-repeated though in one voice

"thought" not "though"

And as always, wherever the Legions went, they brought their dependents along. The small but significant bump in the total population was more than welcomed by the people in charge who understood just how great endeavor they were undertaking.

"just how great an endeavor" not "just how great endeavor"

Thanks, I'll get around to fixing those soon.
In main news, I'm afraid the update will get slightly more delayed.
My meds knocked me out, which is something that happens once in a blue moon, so I'm too sleepy to do much of anything. The only reason I'm awake now is because I got awoken to eat and take meds again.
cheerio! Se ya sometime tomorrow.

Setup turn 1.3
Urghhhh......
I can't even...
A/N: I knew there was an important reason marriage prospects were supposed to be a part of 1.2, but in my infinite folly and laziness, and due to the prolonged period it took me to compile it, I forgot and decided I could just postpone it until turn 2. After all, It's not as if the weddings could even go on until mid turn 2 anyway. For criss sake, our precocious little heir Anora is barely 11 at the end of turn 1!
Yeah. But by the end of turn 2 she'll have her own brood, and need to look up prospects for them!
...

Well, no biggie right!
Actually, this format makes even more sense, when all is said and done.

And, just so you peeps know, fortune continues to fawn all over Anora, and dump over her brothers.
Just how you might ask? Well, let me tell you...
I've cast die.
Talons looking would net one roll for each of the children. Volunteers from colleges and priesthood each garnered one additional roll each. Then I cast 1d2 for each of the children to see about looking for Prospects in New Tasakarim. boys each rolled 2, Anora 1. So, I added those numbers to former empire rolls.
So, it came down to 6 rolls for Thomas, 6 for Taesta and 5 for Anora.
Then, I rolled d100 and took rolls over 50.
Prospects start with 2 traits. Roll over 75, prospect gains additional trait. 88+ two additional traits. 99 & 100 would have netted 5 traits altogether. No rolls over 50? I do not even bother rolling stats besides blood purity, and traits are right out.
Thomas rolled: 12, 22, 20, 56, 13, 46
Taesta rolled: 18, 19, 18, 33, 17, 54
Anora? feast your eyes folks: 92, 54, 89, 65, 98
So, yeah... I'm not even bothering with Anora's 65 and 54 prospects, there would be no point.

Emaline Yanston of Onas

A third daughter of a Layknight of a minor chapter of the order of Perilous path, and lady Hermina, herself the third daughter to the Baron of Onas, Emaline combines her father's sturdy build and affinity towards outdormanship with her mother's even temper and love for animals. Watching her grow up, her entire extended family had expected her to go down the path of knighthood rather than marriage alliance as was expected out of her more dainty sisters.
So, you can just imagine everyone's surprise when envoys from the far off frontier realm of Pyratryst came around with substantial - even counting for the admittedly rather high value of the Ubi herd ruled by the bull moose she had raised from a sickly fawn - bride price asking for her.

Traits:
Strong, steadfast and steady - +2M +2S base, +1D, +1P, inheritable
Whatever happens around you, you've always been able to soldier on, your shoulders broad enough to bare more than just your burdens.
Beast tamer - +2M +1I +1S, moderate chance to gain monster retinue
Some nobles raise fluffy or entertaining pets for a hobby. You raise beasts of war and utility.
Retinue:
Ubi bull moose - +3M
Your best friend, fiercest protector and, if necessary, mode of locomotion, though neither of you like that last bit. Fairly standard specimen of his kind, standing 7'2 at the shoulder, 11' head-and-body and 2200lb.
Ubi herd - +1M +1S +1P
Ubi are the greatest subspecies of deer found in the lands of former Tasakarim. Native to the midlands of the eastern prong of the lower Rosa mountains, bulls of these absolutely massive ungulates are known to be able to drive away such predators as Devil bears and Blackhead wyverns.

Well, at least Thom and Ema are well matched.
Also, for the retinue - it is a part of specials table roll, that so far everyone except Aelyn, and now Ema failed to roll to get anything from. And Ema not only scored just enough to get a special, she then proceeded to crit on the results. Hard!
To be specific, her specials rolls were: 10d12=80/dc80, 1d6=4 - retinue, 1d20=14 - beast, 1d100=100+(1d100=53)=153! - end results

Sofia Mantebrau

The only child of a pair of mid-ranking clergy of Isanela who, with the rest of their brethren and the priesthood, had folloved Aelyn as their goddess' chosen, and potential champion up the harrowing path to these wild and untamed lands. Having been born and raised in Pyratryst, Sofia knew no other life, and as everyone else held immense respect for Queen Aelyn for all the titanic efforts she poured into her people. Still, respect for the queen did not equal imediate respect for the rest of Tasakar.
Between the stories of atrocities and abandonment of the goddess of the imperial Tasakars, and the... troubling decision to delay building up a proper temple for, you know the goddess they just owed everything to, by the current ones, there was an understandable... Wariness concerning the line as a whole, especially for someone who could not even imagine any other path in life than priesthood.
And then she was told that her ambitions would have to be put on backburner to become a...a...A BROODMARE.
And it was not even the quiet and respectful prince Thomas whom she would marry. Oh, no. Her intended was to be the brash, boorish brat of the middle prince!
Well, never say she would refuse her duty to her goddess...

You believe in the divine with such fervor that it became the lens through which you measure everything in your life.

Taesta and Sofia on the other hand... Yeah. Had Thom and Ema not fit so well together, I'd've switched the brides around just to evade the discord, but... Well, fireworks shall abound in the future, I guess?

Now, for what you have all been breathlessly awaiting for!
The choice of the next Prince consort of the New Tasakarim!
And here are our brave contestants:

[] Alric Tarikson of Fort Belami.

The son and right hand of the young and brilliant major Tarik Sybar - whom himself is one of the ten most senior officers of the now defunct IX legion and in command of the second most prominent fortified settlement of the Horn isle - Alric felt naturally called to follow his father in service.
Unfortunately, while he made for an excellent soldier and a superb warrior, in the meritocratic society of the legions, his lack of organizational skills meant there was scarce hope he would ever rise beyond the rank of sergeant, something his ambitious nature just could not abide.

You have taken plentifull advantage of the free access to a wide assortment of literature.

[] Cainen Horn of Madara

Horn is a minor house, subordinate to the Greadinas who had ruled Madara all the way back to the first Tasakar empress. Beyond their traditional connection to the still mighty lineage, little is known of note about them.
Since the end of the Old Tasakrim, however, a significant drop in the fortunes of their rival houses has been detected, offering some rather... poignant... insight in where their actual strengths might lie.
If those suspicions turn out to be true than Cainen should be considered an excellent investment into the future, not only on the basis of his own many fine qualities but for what the rest of his family could bring to the table.

There is no slowing down for you, you will rest when you are dead! In the meantime, there is a slew of things that need doing!

[] Nicholas Ladislaus

The only child of Lyr Ladislaus, one of the sons of Captain Thaddeus Ladislaus, and thus a great-grandson of the inimitable Ser Luis and Lady Myria, Nicholas can be considered the premier scion of what is the defacto third family of the New Tasakarim, just below the Tasakars and Fergazes themselves.
Barely a few months younger than prince Taesta, Nicholas was too young to remember their families' arrival to the Pyratryst. Being one of the exceedingly rare children of both the right age and high enough social background, it is rather unsurprising that he quickly got elevated to the position of both the best friend and main confidant to both prince Taesta and princess Anora, and was officially decreed chief royal minion by Prince Thomas.
Favoring his great-grandmother both physically and mentally, though thankfully displaying much more easy-going temperament, it is hardly surprising that, over the years growing up, when he was not getting into trouble with the royal offsprings, he was acting as lady Myria's official gofer and unofficial student.
The matriarch of the Ladislaus clan eventually deemed it would be beneficial for everyone around that both him and princess Anora should be directed to channel their excess of energy and youthful elan away from their usual mischief and into the scholarly rivalry, at which point he and his partner-in-crime became the esteemed ladies, official proteges.
