It's not that big considering the yearly energy profit in 2023 would be 2.6 trillion and would only go up over time as fossil fuels go run out and the minerals needed to produce solar panels have their deposits further emptied. Odds are we're taking in billions while dismantling 10s of billions in inefficient energy production.

The hero squad continues to grow.
Ok, is it just me or does every member of the hero squad John recruits have a betrayal theme going on.
Zeus get screwed over by Clovis because he thought women were useless and wouldn't cure his sister.
Eris get screwed over by the hospital because some rich people wanted some insurance.
Cayde get screwed over by the Police Department because one of their own was doing very bad crimes.
And now this woman is getting screwed over by ONI!
Twenty bucks says the next person to join the hero squad was betrayed by the military

…Well, we do have the whole John Wick setting in the background. So it's possible it could be a professional assassin burned by the High Table, which is presumably still reeling from the John Wick Saga.

I still have not decided on when exactly in the JW timeline we are.
At the very least it's before JW1, but no idea if his wife is alive or dead.
As for hiring John, that is like a long shot.
Right now two ways John could join our group:
1. Victoria knows him through her spook work.
2. We do something more important for the HT and them, wanting to protect us; Santino D'Antonio uses his marker on John to protect us.
