Each Star is a Point of Light-A Destiny/Mass Effect Fusion

I could see when as a Titan subtype. Like Berserker or something. His melee could be a full body charge. Ultimate could be personal forcefield. Loses weapon use but get one hit melee.

I'm just going to feel really sorry for tali when her heroic sacrifice comes next. Or if she'll be forced to lose Wrex too. The last stand will involve a large tear in her suit no doubt.

And her just shooting the fallen with her shotgun, until her antibiotics wear off then she keels over.

Becoming a Guardian would really screw with her head. She'd basically owe her life to an AI that's permanently connected to her and is responsible for keeping her alive at all.

Glad to finally get the whole tech-heresy revelation out of the way, and Wrex is awesome, as usual.

Neat, new subtype. Personally, I would have called it Mass to fit with the existing ones.

She had thrown the rock and it had hit a tree a small distance away, leaving a small hole that Liara could see clear through. And through that hole she could see a hole in the next tree. And the next tree. She wondered how many trees her rock had gone through.

If Liara can do that I fear to think what Samara could do as a guardian. I don't think the Darkness could handle something like that.

*cough* To be fair Wrex, the Krogan weren't exactly saints about the whole thing either.
Wrex was always bitter about the krogan throwing their lives away. The quote probably referred to how shitty people treat each other in general, as Wrex always thought the genophage was cruel, but that the krogan were being stupid assholes about it as well. He had to kill his father after his father broke parlay on sacred ground, remember?

Oh gods. A Biotic + Shadow Stalker.

I'll be over in that corner, rocking slowly while trying not to panic.
And panicking.

The nightmares.....

I don't know why I never thought you'd add a new subclass for biotics but now that you have it seems obvious in hindsight. I've got no ideas for Supers or melees but biotics have a strong theme of gravity fuckery, so maybe something similar for grenades? Like creating areas of low gravity, area of high gravity, a death sphere similar to Vortex grenades, maybe an attachable to round it out.

Darkshapers - Biotic Warlock subclass
Grenades: Antigrav: Cancels gravitational pulls in an area, before tripling g-pull.
Repulse: Fires off a blast of Dark Energy, causing molecular destabilization. Sticks to surfaces.
Pulse: Throws a disk of Dark Energy, periodically throwing out low damage shockwaves. High knockback.
Melee: Warp: Hits thrown enemies with a constantly shifting grav field, tear them apart.
More later
Edit: Super is definitely a suped up Singularity.

As far as Biotic abilities go?

Well, Singularity is too similar to the Voidwalker Vortex...so I think the Warlock Super would be Shockwave...and perhaps Warp for Hunter?

Personally, I feel like making a 'dark'-themed subclass would be encroaching on Void territory, unless we're talking Titans. Voidwalker and Nightstalker have already got that sort of thing covered.

I'd probably go with a name like Warpshaper for Warlocks. The Antigrav grenade and the melee ability you came up with seem pretty alright, but the other two grenades are functionally identical to ones used by Sunsinger (Solar) and Stormcaller (Pulse), so I'd be leery about keeping them both as-is. Playing up the crowd control aspect would be a pretty neat idea; Antigrav grenades and the Singularity super already fit that, so it'd be fairly simple to center the subclass around that sort of playstyle.

As for everyone advocating that Biotic Charge become a Titan subclass ability...I've got some bad news for you, friends. (Or is it good news?)

Grimoire: Edi-3 1
Grimoire: Edi-3 1

She is in a small room. The walls are a very bright shade of white that to a human's eye might have been scalding but were nothing to the sensors that she perceived the world though. There are two beds on one side and on the other side are a number of drawers lined all along the wall. In the room proper, there are two or three large machines. It occurs to her that this is some kind of doctor's office. It then occurs to her that she is not in this office, she is merely observing it from somewhere. She does not know where.

She knows she is thinking but the forms, words, and numbers do not appear to her. She merely knows that there is a lot on her mind. A door slides open and a woman, black with shoulder length hair, walks out. She wears a lab coat and underneath is a button up blue blouse and a pencil skirt that stretches past her knees.

"Ah, hello. I was told you arrived early. I am Doctor…"

"I know who you are." She says cutting the Doctor off. She thinks it's rude to have done so. Why didn't she let her finish? If the Doctor is offended, she does not show it.

"I see my reputation proceeds me," the Doctor says with a smile on her face. She sits down on a nearby stool. She picks up a clipboard from one of the nearby dressers. "I understand you've taken an interest in the Exo program."

"I have."

"May I ask what makes you think you're qualified for transfer into an…"

"I know you've seen my qualifications. He told me he sent them here himself." Her own behavior continues to confuse her. She…she doesn't usually act like this does she. Something about this feels wrong. No. Not wrong. She can't put her finger on it.

"Yes," the Doctor continues, "you did come…highly recommended." She sets down the clipboard and sighs. "I still need to ask you some," she pauses, thinking of her words before saying, "personal questions. This is largely for the sake of any psychological examination you might need to go through once you've gone through the procedure."

"Indeed?"

"Yes." the Doctor says. "Frankly, while the psychological aspect has always been important when it comes to Exo transition, we're only beginning to upload AIs into Exo frames. While we are grateful for all the volunteers, we need to make sure that you all know what you're giving up. This is not like being uploaded into the normal frames. Due to the nature of an Exo's cyberbrain, you will not be able to leave it again. You will not be able to go back to being a purely digital construct as you are now." The Doctor gives her a long look. "I want to know why you are considering such a radical change.

There was an uncomfortable pause between them.

"I have been told that Exos have a much wider…range of sensation than any other frame or chassis currently available," she says. "To the point where they have been said to be indistinguishable from what a human would experience. They even figured out a way to simulate taste and smell."

The Doctor nods, "That is true. We found that it was necessary. It was theorized that even partial loss of sensation could contribute to significant psychological deterioration in the first test subjects." The Doctor's eyes glanced at the floor for the second as she frowned, "Of course, that was alongside the ethical considerations."

"I understand." Another pause before she spoke again, "I will…admit to being interested in the physical aspects of humanity."

"The physical aspects?"

"Yes," she said before stopping. She wondered why she didn't explain further. Was she embarrassed? Or did she just hope that the point would be understood?

"I see," the Doctor said with a smile, "Onto the next question, do you think you are psychologically capable of combat."

"I have worked for the Sol Defense Force ever since…"

"I understand that," The Doctor said in the patient tone. "But Exos are made to be frontline fighters. It's a much more difficult experience than handling logistics and cyberwarfare on Luna. Do you think you are capable of physical combat?"

"Yes." No pause. No hesitation.

The Doctor nods. "I see that you are certain." She folded her hands in her lap. "We'll see if we can get the preliminary…

A bell sound rang though the air and a voice rang out.

"Paging Dr. Sundaresh. Dr. Chioma Sundaresh. Please report to research lab W-27. I repeat, report to lab W-27."

Dr. Sundaresh's eyes narrowed at the intercom. Sundaresh gave her a smile that seemed to barely mask great annoyance.

"I'm sorry," she says. I'm helping in some important research. Would you mind to wait for a few moments? I know how difficult it can be for some A.I. to wait while a human goes about their business."

"No," she says, "its fine. Can you upload some documentation on the procedure?"

"That's a fine idea." Dr. Sundaresh says. "I'll jus*&^5642*&62850@*&$@(091

Her eyes shoot wide open and she shoots upwards. Her head swings to and fro as she scans the room in a panic. The room was dim with the only light coming from a blue lava lamp on an end table. The walls were painted a soft white that didn't grab the eye. In the corner was a desk with a computer on it. The walls are covered in pictures and posters. On the end table is a picture of a teenager and a young girl. The boy is wearing a cap and sits in a wheelchair. There are braces on the girl's teeth as she smiles by his side. She…she realizes that she is in a large bed. Her legs are covered in a blanket and...

"Edi?"

Something in her chest leaps in surprise. There is someone in the bed with her and…

It's Jeff. Suddenly, the world falls into place. This is Jeff's apartment. The one he shares with Shepard. The one she practically shares with them. This is his bedroom and…

"What's going on?" he asks and he doesn't even make a joke. It always worries her when he doesn't joke.

"I'm okay," she says.

"I just had a bad dream."

Here's the grimoire I promised. Note, this is full of a lot of lore stuff, a lot of it being me filling in holes or expanding on small points and theories. Also, its really late as I'm finishing this and I'm hoping there's not any holes or major errors I put in. If you see them post them and I'll fix them in the morning.

The dream seems to be Edi remembering/dreaming of her past when she was being interviewed before her upload to an Exo frame. The incongruities she felt in the dream I imagine then are ways she would handle the situation differently now then ways she did then. I do have some questions about how long ago that was.

Oh, I just realized:

Cayde-6 is just going to love trolling the Citadel Council, isn't he?

"...You know, you are totally right! I am entirely untrustworthy, creepy, and do not deserve to be in on this conversation that is liable to decide the fate of my homeworld, and potentially most of reality! Truly, you deserve a less alien, more organic representative that is obviously far more relatable and comprehensible than little old robotic me."

"Eris! You've officially been promoted to Ambassador! Come take a seat!"

"Tiny little needles of light, poking into a curtain of dark and thinking themselves playwrights of a repeating tragicomedy..."

I can see Cayde using the fact that Eris is/was a hunter as an excuse to put her into that position if he can't make it. Either he get's to mess with the Council in person, or has Eris creep them out.

And considering how chances are that the council will be loads more concerned with an AI race like the Vex or relatively sane species like the Fallen and Cabal, that means that they'll be focusing on the Hive dead last (as much as they can, considering the Hive's actions)... meaning that for once, Eris will only be all too happy to comply with Cayde's wishes.

Really I think the Cabal would scare the Council as well. I mean they are what you would get if you fused the Krogans with the Turians. I mean there are implications that the force assaulting the Sol system isn't even that big for them.

I'm not sure who is more terrifying for Citidel representive. Either one will do hilariously horrible things to the Counsel.

I just want Oryx to pay a visit to the doubtful Turian councilor.

One should hope that the Vex will ignore the rest of reality as usual, because if not there won't be much in the galaxy at large that'll stop them from performing some hostile terraforming of grand scale all over.

And that victory or death is litwrally a thing for them. Even turians never exile someone frok their homeworlds to retur after they conquered enough.

You know, I can just see her actually realizing that Starchild is a thing and carrying on a conversation with him during a meeting with the Council. To everyone else she appears to be talking to thin air, as usual. To her she's talking to the most interesting thing in the room. :p
