Sadly, my computer is fried. It will turn on and run for about five minutes before it shuts off and won't restart properly.

FYI, that sounds like a cooling fan problem, leading to a safety cutoff once the temperature builds up in a few miinutes. Check the power supply unit and the CPU fan, you should be able to fix it by cleaning out the crap or replacing those.

The good news: My computer seems to be functional again after having cleaned it out.
The bad news: I have lost the files that had this quest in them due to my external hard drive being the one which I had them on, and it corrupted. In other words, I won't be able to continue this at the moment due to losing my plans. I am sorry.
