I see y'all have understood the...unusual nature of her name, though you didn't make the conclusions about it's origin that I was expecting.
 
I see that I've been misunderstood once again. I was particularly responding to the "chuuni parents" comment as the origin of that name, namely, that if they are not the origin, then who is the most likely culprit of naming her such a ridiculous name? Other hints, she currently looks about the same age as you, contractor powers didn't show up until three years ago, and you were in your last year of middle school three years ago...

Also, you guys just hate agreeing on anything don't you? :p

Huh, I just noticed that. I understand now. No, this is not a cross-over with Melancholy of Haruhi. Three settings is more than enough. The three years ago thing is due to the Rule of Three. Also my subconscious association between Bakemonogatari and Haruhi due to both of them being harem like light novels where very strange things go on surrounding a high school boy.

Unlikely~. As if there would be some strange event to occur around Arararararararararagi that either a) didn't involve him in some (lethal) manner or b) he didn't remember.

It's not like he has much of a life in the way of remembering such a thing happening.

Also, I think you guys are way overthinking this name thing. She has a ridiculous name she introduces herself with. Who is the simplest and most likely source of a name for a person if it's not from her parents? (Hint: Who named the Dark Flame Master?)
