Cemeteries in Odaka City

As a thriving metropolis, Odaka has many cemeteries, but they are almost all of a classic pattern. They're small, compact spaces packed with little gravestones. The gravestones are small because almost everyone is cremated, so they only mark an urn. Families tend to be buried together, with some stones even bearing the names of living members of the family, only painted in with red paint that is removed when the person dies and is interred in the family plot. As is usual in Japan, the organisation tends to be... organic, with twisting paths and no obvious way of telling who is where. Despite the apparent chaos, the cemeteries are quiet, peaceful places, even in the middle of a neighbourhood with homes and businesses just metres away. Many of the gravestones will bear offerings to the dead: little cups of sake, for example, or fresh flowers. Sometimes they will be adorned with things the deceased loved in life. These are sweet, melancholy places - the epitome of the aesthetic of mono no aware, the transience of things.

Accepted! though with the bustling multi-cultural atmosphere of Odaka there are also many who employ different aesthetics and rites and the wealthiest and most renowned of families posses personal ones for their bloodlines.

    What kind of girl are you?
    Yuu is someone who cannot sit idly by; watching another suffer. Her heart would hurt with theirs. Naturally, for such a bleeding heart, Yuu would be the first to rush in heedless of any consequence.

    Because of this, her innate sense of impassioned kindness, Yuu's willing to help anyone without so much as a afterthought. While this has led to some exploitation; Yuu would never be deterred. If someone had need of help, any help, she would be there, always.

    That being said, however, Yuu is naive with her kind heart. What she really wants is for everyone to be happy, an impossible wish, but something she's willing to put forth all her effort, blood, sweat and tears for. Just to see someone genuinely smile.

    Despite her well-wishing nature, Yuu is a bit reckless and rash, sometimes to point of good-willed but utterly foolish idiocy. Never much of a thinker but an actor.

    What drove you to make a Pact?
    Without giving it so much as second thought, Yuu made a pact to protect a child from getting eaten by a ravenous monster, something she knows now as a Youma. With courage and righteous fury, Yuu had bested the slathering monstrosity with her newfound magical powers, saving the day, and the unconscious child.

    Mabye this 'Heroine of Justice' thing, wasn't that impossible, after all?

    Since that fateful day, Yuu's life has been getting bit more. . . heroic, if she might dare say.

    Which she wouldn't. Because that line is both awful and hideously corny.

    What is your wish?
    Yuu doesn't really have one at the moment. Weirdly enough, well, she kinda does. But it's bit too silly for Yuu to comfortably say with a straight face.

    Magical Element: Light
    Yuu has that grossly incandescent glow about herself at times.

    Magical Power: Radiant Heart:
    Yuu can manipulate light itself as a weapon to protect innocents from the predations of evil. Even if there's no source present, she can materialize her element with ease by simply visualizing it.

    Normal Appearance:

    Unsually tall (5'6ft) with an highly athletic build, Yuu prefers clothing that's baggy and shows preferably a minuscule amount of skin. Hilariously contray to her magical girl transformation that embarrasses her to this very day.

    Costume:


    If she wasn't fighting man eating monsters or thwarting selfish villains, she would have curled up in tiny ball crying. That being said, her favorite bit of the outfit however, has to be the blue rose that decorates her styled bobcut.

    Weapon: Wave (Sword)
    An ornate shortsword with star theme to it. Yuu swings her sword much like one would do with a bat, unfortunately.

    Finesse: 4

    Magical Attributes:

    Talents:
    People Die When They Get Killed (Major):
    Naturally that means rescue them harder by sprinting harder, even if it pains Yuu's remarkably terrible lungs.

    Denser Than Neutron Star (Major):
    Instead of being riled up, Yuu's lack of critical thinking, makes most verbal assaults lack a certain degree of. . . sting.

    Help-A-Holic (Minor):
    If it's more related to the brawn end of spectrum, Yuu can use her stupid strength to help in such physical tasks. Save for cardio. We don't talk about cardio.

    Goofball (Minor):
    Sometimes laughter is the best medicine. So, Yuu will opt be the willing clown, if it can make someone sad, happy.

    Archetype: Guardians:
    Tanks. They get a +2 to base Resolve (HP), a +1 to all Resist challenges, and their passive defense is +6, not +4. They do what tanks do best; take hits and draw aggro.

    Magical Effects:
    Scaling Defiance
    Knight's Shield

    Signature Attacks:
    Cage of Mirrors:

    Yuu tricks the enemy by manipulating ALL the light around him, creating an endless series of mirages, that only serve to befuddle and confuse him until Yuu is more able to finally put the hurt on him, fast and painful.

    Arcane Prison attacks trap the enemy in a cage of your manifested element. If they fail to resist, they are immobilized, and are incapable of attacking or weaving spells.

    Crisis:
    Yuu has a rather warped sense of self, for she can't allow someone to idly suffer alone, even if it's at Yuu's expense. She earnestly desires to save everyone. For everyone deserves happiness. Because of this, Yuu would brave anything and challenge anyone to enforce her naive; but hopeful idealism.

    This is Yuu's justice, and salvation is but a single step away.

    Despite Yuu's brilliant idealism. Apparently, not every Magical Girl has a virtuous heart. Not long after defeating her first Youma, Yuu was robbed upon the threat of death, threatening to kill her and the child if she didn't get the seed. Thankfully, no one got hurt but since then and despite her inherent cheerfulness. She can't quite trust every new face she meets, even if she really wants to. . .

    Yuu is the Prez of this lively club. Its members mostly do various outdoor sports activities, through Yuu hates running as it upsets her asthma.
