[X] [Furnishing] Traditional Japanese. An ingrained style of Japanese history that will never go away, no matter how synthetic the materials get. Tatami mats and sliding doors with low tables and seat cushions, with plenty of futons for sleeping anywhere. Maybe even a kotatsu for chilly evenings, set in front of a large television set. That sounded quite homey.

"Give it another push," You called out to Mitsu and your partner obliged. She pressed her arms against the flat surface and bent her elbows every so slightly. Then with a grunt, she applied force and shoved.
The couch inched another few centimeters and you immediately called for a stop. After a moment to check, you smiled and nodded at your pleased roommate. "Perfect. Now it's aligned with the television set."
"Excellent!" Mitsu trumpeted and wasted no time in swinging over the side and landing on the bouncy foam with a happy noise. "That's the last of our labors then?"
'I think so." You tested kneeling down on one of the seat cushions next to the table and nodded, satisfied by the padded comfort. Still, you looked contemplatively at all the other seats and furniture, clearly far too much for just the two women that currently lived under the patched roof. "Isn't this a bit much?"
"Oh?"
"You've gone through the extra effort of getting stuff that could easily house what feels like an entire squad," You explained and gestured with a sweep of the arm. "Even the other rooms that aren't ours have been kitted out with desks, futons, the works. Just how many are you expecting to live with us?"
"I...may have gotten carried away," Mitsu admitted with an embarrassed scratch to her cheek. But her expression brightened up and she pounced on your words. "But wouldn't it be grand, that idea? That we would eventually come to share this abode with others? Perhaps if they were fellow sisters of ours, it would be like our very own clan!"
"Or a gang," You muttered with suspicious look. "Mitsu, are you planning on running a gang out of our home?"
She frantically shook her head and held up her hands. "Not in the slightest! At least, not without your approval!"
Your opticware flickered and informed you that Mitsu was telling the honest truth, so much as what her body language was saying. You were inclined to believe her anyway, she was never one for such deception. "I see. Though...I think maybe inviting other Lycoris graduates isn't such a bad idea. Even if they end up not contributing to the rent, it's hardly that much of a burden on us to house them."
"Ah!" Mitsu eagerly pumped her fists with a grin. "So we are of the same mind then!"
"Maybe so, though I don't know when we'd get the opportunity. Our friends are all doing their own things for now, and it'll probably be a year until the next batch of Lycoris graduates." You shrugged. "They might not even want to come down here as well, so we'll have to see."
"Time will tell, indeed!"
Before the conversation could continue, your eyes lit up when you got an alert about a new message in your email. You excused yourself and made your way to your room, taking a seat at the desk with a computer station. With a few clicks of the keyboard, the screen came alive and you navigated into your email inbox. There, sitting on the top, was an official letter of communication from the Kagoshima City Administration.
Your hands shakily clicked on it and you quickly read through it.
To [Miss Anzai Yuuki],
We are pleased to inform you that your application for a business license has been received, processed, and approved. As of today, [Kagoshima Fragrance] has been authorized as a commercial venture within the city of Kagoshima. In return for the monthly maintenance fee of [500 eb], you will be afforded all rights and protections as a business owner, so long as you follow all local ordinances.
Please note that in [six months], there will be a city health and safety inspection of your premises and operations. Failure to pass the inspection may result in your license being suspended or revoked. Good luck.
You let out a relieved sigh and slumped in your chair slightly. You got the business license, that was a massive weight off your shoulders. Now you didn't have to worry about Shinohara Securities kicking down your door for selling illegal coffees.
Hm, perhaps you could bribe Azumi with a fresh brew then?
You shook your head and quickly downloaded the business license to put up on a holographic display downstairs, as requested per regulations. You frowned at remembering the shop floor was still a mess and drummed your fingers against your desk. Maybe it was time to fix that up and begin installing the appropriate furnishings for a flower cafe. You'd have to pay for it yourself now, unlike Mitsu who had used her own account for the living space.
Idly, you wondered if she was going to now spend that money on her dream vehicle before shaking your head to refocus yourself. You had work to plan out.
Choose up to four (4) actions you'll carry out through the week
Kagoshima Fragrance (Kaori) -[ ] [Kagoshima Fragrance] Fix up the Shophouse: This place is an absolute mess, between the poor maintenance over time and the firefight to reclaim it. You'll need to put in some serious time to try and put things back together from the upstairs living area to the underground basement.
-[ ] [Kagoshima Fragrance] Fix the Van: The Scavs had a cheap utility van that's gotten shot up pretty badly, but you think you could maybe fix it back up. It could be handy for either an infusion of cash to your new business or an asset for the business itself. Try your hand at being a mechanic for a bit.
-[ ] [Kagoshima Fragrance] Install new Electronics: You plan on opening up a flower cafe that serves drinks and snacks amid splendid floral arrangements with real flowers. You'll need to install a variety of electronics to make that happen, such as fridges and coffee machines. It'll be a costly but necessary expense.
-[ ] [Kagoshima Fragrance] Find Suppliers: If you're intent on opening up a floral cafe, you need to secure sources for the various supplies you need. You'll need to have a look around to see if you can figure out who to buy these supplies from. --[ ] Refreshments
--[ ] Flowers
-[ ] [Kagoshima Fragrance] Hire Employees: While you could run the place by yourself for a time, the lack of coverage in areas you're not well-versed in can eventually be telling. Try to fix this by putting out ads for new hires. --[ ] Cooking
-[ ] [Kagoshima Fragrance] Advertise Word: Go spreading fliers and putting up posters of the soon-to-be-opened Kagoshima Fragrance around the neighborhood to try and drum up interest for the eventual grand opening. The more buzz you create, the more attention could be drawn to the big moment.
Shinohara Securities -[ ] [Shinohara Securities] Visit the Office: You've made a contact in the form of Security Chief Azumi, the leader of an elite corporate police task force. Pay her a visit to chat and see what opportunities she can offer you.
-[ ] [Shinohara Securities] Part-Time Patrol: As Shinohara Securities was perpetually shorthanded, they didn't have enough security patrols going around to keep the neighborhood safe. They've offered to pay you a fair sum to do so in their place. It'd be like a Lycoris patrol, but this time, you get paid!
Secondborn Ronin -[ ] [Secondborn Ronin] Visit the Pauper: The Pauper is the Fixer of the Secondborn Ronin and is a bridge between the corporate world and streets. Go to the public library to chat with them about what opportunities they can offer you, especially with that favor they owe you.
The Vendetta -[ ] [The Vendetta] Schedule a Ripper: La Peste is a mysterious but talented RipperDoc who has offered their expertise if you wish to see them for a health checkup or discrete cyberware surgery. See if they have an opening in their schedule to meet them.
Lycoris Graduate -[ ] [Lycoris Graduate] Call a Lycoris: There's times where you miss the organization, as unbelievable as that might sound given their grim task. You certainly don't hold it against any of the other Lycoris and want to have a chat with them to see how they're doing. --[ ] The Commander
--[ ] Misaki Arisu
--[ ] Nakaiji Momiji
Living Life -[ ] [Living Life] Browse the Library: The public library in your neighborhood has a wide selection of information datashards covering a variety of topics. You can read them to your heart's content in the facility, or you could pay a fee to make a copy and take it home to study.
-[ ] [Living Life] Find a Black Market: As so many things are restricted from sale or possession in Japan, you can only find these prohibited items at a black market somewhere. They're surprisingly common enough if you know where to look, though having some caution about the quality of their myriad of wares is a smart idea.
-[ ] [Living Life] Go Clubbing: Risk the nightlife of the city and visit one of the many neon hangouts around the city to experience something new, maybe even meet some new folks or have magical encounters.
-[ ] [Living Life] The Way: Mitsu's offered to take some time out of her week to help train you in the sword and by extension, other melee weapons. You did have a rather nice katana that you didn't want to go to waste...
Miscellaneous -[ ] [Miscellaneous] Scrap the Van: It's not worth your time or effort to patch it up. Rip it apart and find a seller for the parts.
- For learning new skills or improving existing ones, the library is where you want to go. If you'd prefer to chip it up, you'll need to find a corporate contact involved in said industry, or visit the black market.
- Cooking is a Tech skill by the way if you're curious.
- Your favor with Pauper could be cashed in if you wanted to get pointed to a high quality source of goods, or if you wanted to know somebody definitely skilled in a desired area.
Four hour moratorium to come up with a week plan.

Ah, I was wondering what the van repairs were about last chapter. Well then, time to fix the electronis this time around. Then maybe start looking into a flower supplier, which given how essential those could be for a flower cafe, I am half tempted to spend the Pauper favor on that. Any opinions on that?
Besides that, given that cooking falls under tech, I kinda feel like we can make a trip to the library one way or another to take a crack at developing that skill. On the note of self improvement, we could do something not shop related and get those sword lessons from Mitsu. It would be a shame not to learn how to use that sword and there'll be good company.
I mean, that sounds like a roundabout way of saying, 'Yes, if you're on board.' Something to consider in the future, I suppose.
Talking about getting our fellow graduates on board, if there's one we could have a chance of calling over it's Arisu given that it doesn't really contradict her plans and free board and easy access to the local library can't hurt for a student. Altough, we'd have to do it pretty much now before she settles down somewhere else and applying for another college becomes too much of a pain. Given how much we have going on, I'd probably swap the 'The Way' option out for that. Although, there's enough of a chance it won't work that it feels like a tad of a gamble. Still, staying in touch with one of the others isn't exactly a bad thing on its own. Opinions?
Biggest priority is working on the skills needed to actually be a good fixer, since that's currently a weak spot for us and something that's going to hold us back and limit our ability to gain money and influence out of fixer activities (aka we need to train the following: Streetwise, Persuasion, maybe Intimidate, maybe more Body Language, Investigate, Disguise and Forgery).

So after thinking about it a bit more, I did decide to go ahead with swapping the supplier search for the Pauper visit. While I'm mostly preoccupied with fixing up the cafe right now (mostly because that's the business front is what we're obligated to run publically, while the Fixer side is something we can set up at our leisure), that's not actually something we have to commit to at this stage of the plan voting. Figuring out where we want to use Pauper first should give us a better idea where to put our efforts.
Also, there wasn't any feedback there, but I figure I might as well put the variant trying our luck with Arisu up and then maybe switch to it if it catches on.

...ah. Whoops, okay, that was my mistake. I thought you went for the van repairs in the plan, I must have misread it!
It would've still been a fail though as it used Electronics instead of Repair. But in recognition of my mistake, I'll toss on a bonus positive modifier to both the van repair and electronic installation as an apology of sorts. It'll still be the dice, but now with a bit more in your favor to get a good result.
Supposed it'll eventually happen with all the quest plans I work with, but I'll make sure to double check next time regardless.

I assume each subvote for suppliers is a separate action? All in on prepping the business.
