Deus Pater (Exalted/40k)

[X] Rehearse. You will be entitled to speak in your own defense eventually, so when the moment comes you should have an argument ready and waiting. You know more of the Church and matters of theology than most, so put that understanding to work. (Trains Lore, also Presence).

While Meditate is very appealing and will be very important, we need to be ready to persuade the sisters now and rehearse helps with that the most.

Drill is more of a long term goal as we should not need it in the immediate future, though we should invest in in once we are out of our current predicament. Maybe even get the sisters to help us in training once we are proven pure?

[X] Meditate. The trials ahead will be of mind and soul as much as body, so you would be well served to take some time and centre yourself, making sure you have a true understanding of where you stand. (Trains Integrity, also Willpower)

This seems to be the most immediately practical option. It wouldn't surprise me if this ended up with something of a courtroom drama -- fighting won't get us out of this situation (too many nearby power-armored hostiles), and integrity won't necessarily persuade others.
Moreover, training lore jump-starts us towards 'dissolving chaos when we get near it' territory, which is always nice.

Going with this in case the room we're in is under observation.

Integrity tree has Integrity Protecting Prana, right?
I think we want to kind of sort of beeline it.

And, well, Willpower is always wonderful to have.

The testing will be rough, even if not purposefully so.

Might not be as directly applicable, but the Integrity charms will be really handy.

We're a good enough speaker as it is. Better to broaden our base. Besides, Integrity has social defensive charms, which we currently lack. I could be convinced to Drill, but I doubt that this will be a trial by combat.

Given the sort of 'trials' the Imperium prefers, I'd think this is the best option.

Integrity Protecting Prana would be very useful further on the way, and we're already very talky.

This is the stuff you need to not get turned into a Squig or a gribbly right? I like not being a squig or a gribbly, I imagine Ignatius agrees with me.

It has charms to protect from those, IIRC. Not sure how to train specifically Charms, so training Ability is our next best bet.

You train charms by training the ability, basically. There's no real distinction between the two.

Also, on a more general note, I made a tweak to the character sheet and switched one of Ignatius' favoured abilities from Linguistics to Resistance. This is mostly because I went and looked at my plans thus far and realized that the former would only very rarely see use - 40k doesn't have a great many situations where you can hand-write a letter to someone but cannot call them on the vox or make the trip in person. It does, however, feature a great many situations where being able to deflect lasgun rounds from your abdominal muscles is a useful ability to possess.
