Deus Pater (Exalted/40k)

[X] Meditate. The trials ahead will be of mind and soul as much as body, so you would be well served to take some time and centre yourself, making sure you have a true understanding of where you stand. (Trains Integrity, also Willpower)

[X] Rehearse. You will be entitled to speak in your own defense eventually, so when the moment comes you should have an argument ready and waiting. You know more of the Church and matters of theology than most, so put that understanding to work. (Trains Lore, also Presence).

[X] Drill. You cannot avoid personal danger forever, and when it finds you it would be prudent to stand ready. Run through some katas and your personal exercise routine. (Trains Brawl, also Athletics)

Not super married to any of them, Meditate is useful but kinda bland and I'm sorta skeptical that they'll put our super charismatic ass on anything like a trial. And I have the deep seated dream that one day Ignatius will descend from his Space Holy Roman Warmech and dramatically rip off his robes to get in a one on one brawl with some inhuman Imperium enhancile and, well, journeys of a thousand miles and all.

That is a compelling image.

You train charms by training the ability, basically. There's no real distinction between the two.

Also, on a more general note, I made a tweak to the character sheet and switched one of Ignatius' favoured abilities from Linguistics to Resistance. This is mostly because I went and looked at my plans thus far and realized that the former would only very rarely see use - 40k doesn't have a great many situations where you can hand-write a letter to someone but cannot call them on the vox or make the trip in person. It does, however, feature a great many situations where being able to deflect lasgun rounds from your abdominal muscles is a useful ability to possess.
Say what would you pair to train stamina resistance, and integrity? To show faith? Can we self flagelate or something less destructive?

We shouldn't just be prepping for the future.

We should be working to show off recognizable sign of favor or abilities consistent with saints.

Also linguistics could be useful for writing books of debates to be read among the populace with arguments that would be bad in a speech.

Argument will be all very well but psykers and sorcerers can talk as well as anyone. What will be decisive are the tests that show we are neither of those things so we want the shape of our mind and soul to be as distictive of sainthood as possible.

Having more integrity and willpower is something you always want in 40k

Were about as vulnerable as we can get right now. We can request combat training from the sisters later if things go well but we won't get that chance if things go poorly. We need to be as ready as you can be to survive this.
