DNVP POLITICIAN DENOUNCES TREATY OF STRASBOURG
"Never! Never again shall Germany submit to the demands of the nefarious French! I beg of you, honored representatives, do not let us weaken ourselves in the face of an unforgiving world. We have very nearly clawed our way out of this Great Depression by ourselves, so why, I ask of you, why must we be humiliated once more by the French? Why must we prostrate our selves like a dog begging for table scraps? Oppose this treaty, please, esteemed colleagues."

Von Langern exploded angrily, almost yelling at the other person in the room. "Who the hell does Sarraut think he is?" His companion looked pensive.
"It's not Sarraut who's Prime Minister anymore, at least I don't think so. I think it's Blum right now," Von Langern calmed down.
"You're right, they can't even decide on a government any more, or anything besides kicking us down. At least we can do something by opposing this mockery of a treaty." He rose. "Anyway, I have to return to my office. We are constructing two new heavy cruisers and some colleagues who work in the Marineleitung have brought some plans to look at."
