More or less, though the truly exceptional can hit 8 or 9. IRL, mostly due to conditions or exceptional circumstances (people with Gigantism measure in at >250cm and 170kg in some cases, and Sumo wrestlers like Musashimaru Kouyou at 192cm and 235kg also end up in this way), but in this setting there's also magic at play.

Due to our discorveries this update we will be making a change next update that leads to your first mulligan - exciting times!
The change will allow characters with a Leader modifier, but without the Rally or Rout skills to use a limited version of them (No defend/attack, lower duration and/or fewer extended effects) as a basic action (one that doesn't require a specific skill).
As such there will be a vote next update where you redo the choice where Snippy gained Rally: he will have the opportinity to pick again between
1) Vanguard
2) Rally
3) Paladin's Protection
If he changes skill here, this will not affect past updates: think of it as a change of direction rather than a retroactive change.

So, i needed to search for what mulligan means.... and it can be a sinonym to explosives or stews, going by thesaurus..... which dont really makes sense, in this context, i think....
Urban Dictionary though, said its a do over due to poor performance or luck...

Ah, Mulligan in this case refers to a do-over because we changed how the Rally skill works. Enough so that we feel that the current incarnation is basically a different skill, and therefore a different choice, from the original. It has nothing to do with the current delve's successes or failures (which is yet to be fully determined).
oh... oh my...
That's.... wow.
That does change things then.... gotta see the new rules and Rally though, before i'm consider getting the spell now... Paladin's Protection is also counts as a leader skill, after all...
Though, it really depends on if we can grant that protection to others or not for me.

To be clear, nothing will have changed until you've had a chance to do-over. The current update is written with the old rules, and will include a vote on the changed skill.

Also yes, and it occurs to me we haven't updated the text for that (didn't used to require specific Rally text)

Nature, you scary.
This is a problem though.... we lost most of the crabs, probably only Snippy and Skalli surviving... maybe only the eel and the nursery.
but now, there IS a definite need for big units.

I'd say curiosity in the face of accepting reality is a good thing

We are definitely going to need to change a lot of things. Can't wait to see the combat rolls so we could see what went wrong with our snippy friends. Also, in hindsight, we should have probably chosen either the Ornate Monitors or the Catfish instead of what we did because I think they would have probably managed to fare better, but who knows.
Can't wait to see the options we are going to get because we are in a really bad spot right now. Like actually at rock bottom compared to any other Delve/Seclusion.

I'm sorry for what happened, but not for choosing the forge and the nursery.
But yeah, we def need some big muscles, if for nothing else, in the worst case scenario to fill the belly of whatever wants to eat our minions faster.
