What basis or evidence do we currently have to suggest that there has been any sabotage aboard the Ark?

I'm sorry, but the answer you're giving me is vague and unhelpful - as I'm sure you'll notice, there are currently several crewmembers out of their cryopods.
I need more information, including what your plan is and who you suspect is responsible for the sabotage you believe has happened. Unless you can give me something more than cryptic hunches, I can't indulge your request - to do otherwise would be to create further chaos that we can't afford right now and risk spreading divisions and suspicion that will do nothing to help the situation. All you've given me right now merely speaks of unsubstantiated paranoia.
Investigation of potential sabotage will have to wait until either we have settled the immediate danger and restored the Ark to full operational status, or until there is more concrete evidence to back your claims of sabotage. Until one or both of these events occur, I can not exempt you from current orders.
MOTHER, can you provide any information that backs up Lt. Kelly's claims or otherwise validates his desire to investigate his claims?

Lt. Kelly has reached the bridge and discovered Captain Bischoff's body lying near the captain's chair with an apparent self inflicted gun shot wound.
Captain Bischoff killed himself? The Captain who had a look in his eyes that Dante had only seen in veterans who had overcome the greatest adversity and had been in the worst battlefields? That was impossible. A man like him would not do something like that unless it was to avoid falling into enemy hands or because he had gone completely crazy.

Certainly this seems the best course of action possible. I will inform to the Commander Adams of the situation and your suggestions.
Please make sure that no one (other than the Commander Adams) comes into contact with the corpse. I will ask the Commander to send someone to ensure your safety as soon as possible.
As soon as he finished sending the message, he contacted Commander Adams to inform him of the difficult situation.

Sir,
I have been informed that the corpse of Captain Bischoff has been found at the bridge. Because I doubt that the Captain has committed suicide, I fear that there is a possibility that someone has killed him. I will carry out an autopsy as quickly as possible to discover the causes of his death
Lt. Nielsen, the person who discovered the corpse, is alone at this moment, I would appreciate it if you send a soldier to ensure his safety and the integrity of the corpse while I'm heading to his location. I recommend that you order the rest of the crew to travel in groups of three people or more to prevent the killer has the opportunity to kill someone else.
Shaking his head with a mixture of resignation and annoyance, Dante began to address the birdge. When he found himself at the door, he turned to Lieutenant Ellecon
"Will you stay with Mr. Abrham or help me do the Captain's autopsy? Your help would be very helpful, it's been a while since I had to perform an autopsy" He ask trying to calm down his emotions @Romulus

Based on your medical expertise, how long is possible to delay the autopsy and preserve the presumed crime scene as it was initially found until doing so would would inhibit your ability to learn what happened to Captain Bischoff?
It is my intention to assign a team to conduct a full investigation of Captain Bischoff's death, and at the very least I would prefer that they have an opportunity to examine and record the crime scene as it was found by Lt. Kelly before the body is moved. If he was, indeed, murdered, I believe that such an examination into the crime scene would beneficial to helping them piece together what happened. Ideally, it would be my preference that we'd be able to restore power to the ship first in order to make full use of the Ark's systems, though given our current situation I doubt that will be possible.
Ultimately, given your expertise in the matter, I will leave the final decision on the autopsy up to you.

I regret to report that currently, our efforts to reach Engineering are currently at a standstill.
Additionally, for those who are not aware yet, I regret to report that Captain Bischoff has died. Due to the nature of the situation, I will refrain from detailing further until a later point, other than that he did not die of natural causes.
At present, our current objectives are twofold:
1) Reach Engineering
2) Investigate Captain Bischoff's death
As to 1, we will for the time being continue our efforts to reach Engineering through the lift. While we have hit a setback in this effort, we will continue our efforts to confront the problem and find a way through.
Use of the ventilation system will continue be held as a reserve option until such time as it becomes clear that we absolutely can not afford to wait until it is safe to use the Nostra. Due to the added danger of this approach, I have no intent on using it unless we have no other option.
If we have not found a way to use the lift to reach Engineering before it becomes safe to use the Nostra, we will use that option instead, and I will have Lt. Montague fly myself, Chief Warrant Officer Johnson, and Crewmen Juarez to Engineering via that route.
As to 2, an investigation into Captain Bischoff's death is to begin immediately. I am assigning a team to investigate the matter, to be led by Lt. Commander Segreti. I am also assigning to this team Lt. Kelly, Lt. Nielsen, Petty Officer Shapiro, and Crewman Lei.
Additionally, I hereby give Lt. Commander Segreti clearance to draft any other active personnel as he deems necessary to assist him with the investigation, so long as doing so does not inhibit our efforts to restore the Ark to full functional status; He is also to refrain from recruiting Lt. Ellecon in order to ensure that our ability to provide medical care is not inhibited, or Ensign Abrhams, due to Abrhams injured status.
With the exception of Ellecon and Abrhams, all crew other than Crewmen Baines not assigned to assist Lt. Commander Segreti with the investigation into Captain Bischoff's death are to assist in ongoing efforts to reach Engineering when able.
Finally - until further notice, all crewmembers are to stay in groups of three or more at all times. Crewman Bains is assigned to Ellecon and Abrhams, both to provide Ellecon with any needed assistance and to ensure they remain a group of three.

Tanzin looked at his compad before showing Dante the message from the Commander, "Guess that answers that. I'll stay here and keep an eye on Abrhams and for anyone else needing medical help."
He scratched his head with his free hand, "Permission to speak freely sir?"

Sir,
Considering that Ark's conditioning systems are working properly, I could wait a full day before diagnosing the body becomes problematic. I could even wait up to two days if you wish, Commander.
Leaving that aside, I will do my best to discover the circumstances in which the Captain died. I appreciate the trust you have placed in me.
I will inform you of any progress in the investigation as soon as I have the opportunity.
It was a shame not to be able to count on the Lieutenant's help, but the reasons for his remaining were completely valid and coherent.
"Do not worry about speaking so formally, Lieutenant. We are not in front of other officers." he said with a tone of amusement in his voice.
Alexandra felt like her head was spinning, and it wasn't the aftereffects of cryo continuing to haunt her. Things had just moved so quickly, one moment they were debating, next thing she knew the hack for the door had failed and the captain was apparently dead and now they were being asked to remain in threes?
She cast about.
"I'm going to go see about making ready the Nostra, we can use it to fly around to the lower airlock and bypass the lift. Two of you come with me?"
That... that was impossible. Brian had seen him, walking, alive. To: ARK Flight Crew

[+2.09 hours after thawing protocol]
A preliminary investigation has been completed regarding captain Bischoff's death. The captain's sidearm, an auto 9 pistol was discovered at the scene, with a bullet missing from the chamber. A gunshot wound was discovered entering beneath the captain's chin and exiting the parietal plate of the skull. Scoring was discovered on the captain's right hand indicating weapons firing.
Zero atmosphere of space have kept the body preserved yet precise time death is impossible to determine at this time. Body temperature indicates the captain's death occurred well before thawing protocol. Further testing in the main medical bay in the cryogenics deck is needed for further information.
Continued efforts to hack the main lift blast door controls have failed. Please restore primary systems to restore blast door functionality.
Thank you.
