Are we in Destructive impulse or not? If we aren't we should just rob the bank or something.

We are not. You'll know when it's time for a full-scale Endbringer Attack.

@UnwelcomeStorm how much of Worm does the SI know?

Good knowledge through Leviathan, fair knowledge through Coil arc, got bored around S9 arc and beyond. Not sure how much it matters, though, because there's a couple mechanics in play that will interfere in regular canon proceedings and knowledge.

If we are disengaging at least let out a scary cackle, we can talk after all.

No reason to kill everyone since we're not in destructive impulse.

Legend was just about to sit down to dinner when The Cellphone rang. Not his personal one, or even his Protectorate issued one. THIS phones number was only known to less then a half-dozen people, and it ringing could only mean trouble. He excused himself and opened it up, putting it to his ear with mild dread at what might be to come. He was not disappointed when the voice of Contessa filtered through loud and clear, with just four words before she hung up.

"There is a Fourth."

His Protectorate phone began to ring, in the unmistakable tone of the Endbringer Alert.

Btw, been wondering about this. Does that mean Contessa can see us? Since well, that's important since she can't see Enbringers.

[X] Hover above the direct centre of the city, destroying things with lightning and generally causing panic.
-[X] Kill a few parahumans and destroy property, but don't go too far - Job enough that they have hope of victory.
-[X] Whilst this occurs, form a cloud of condensed power above your head.
--[X] As time drags on, have the giant circular cloud expand, growing ever more powerful the larger it gets.
---[X] Once the cloud is large enough to annihilate the city, drop it on everyone's head.
----[X] Now that everyone vulnerable to your attack is dead, leave the ruined city and orbit the earth, at the height of most cloud cover.

I read nothing about UW (needs an EB name) having the urge. So I vote against destruction. Given the opposition it will be a running fight.

Wiser Guy is correct. I couldn't write it into the interlude convincingly, but Contessa was performing a couple of steps on the Path, one of which was to enter a building and put in a security code to a vault. While the SI was getting closer, her lightning hit the power grid and caused a power outage. As a step in the path suddenly failed without warning, Contessa focused on finding out the cause of the outage. When she finds out about a several meter tall crystalline being that she can't make a path for, she recognizies when the exact same thing happened with the Simurgh, and goes on high alert with the rest of Cauldron. This combined with Dragon jumping the gun a little in thinking she was directly attacked (it was a random accident while the SI was power testing) means everyone is immediately thinking "Endbringer." The SI does have the same immunity to pre-cog that the rest do.

Moonlight Butterwitch
A monster thing hmmm...? Please don't mind me let me just rub myself on it a little.

I don't know what our beautiful fractal butterfly is meant to look like but I got this image in my head

Major influences are obviously Mismagius and the Moonlight Butterfly. I think it's pretty snazzy.

I swear to god I'm not following you around (much).

It probably means that Contessa couldn't see us, so she determined that we are an Endbringer based on that.

Makes sense.

Have you seriously not finished Worm? I'm always surprised when fanfic authors say they haven't.

Is that a beard I am looking at, or is it some kind of scarf?

Isn't Destructive Impulses easy to get around? Just make sure that US attacks wherever Scion is at the moment.

It's neck ruff. I took it from moths, they are the most adorable little fuzzpuffs. I thought it fit the butterfly theme and Mismagius' hat is fuzzy already, so... yeah.
Thanks, I can see it now. My problem was that I initially mistook the head for a single big eye, but with that clarified the drawing looks much better to me due to the change in perspective.

Now that I think of it, being forced to caused destruction at regular intervals doesn't mean we can't warn them well before the fact of what our target is (if we can't talk, just send a couple of minions there, that should make the message get through clearly enough), so as to allow all non-combatants to be evacuated. Sure, we'll still destroy a shitton of buildings and infrastructure, and sure, we'll duke it out with a lot of parahumans, but we won't be killing any bystanders.

If no one shows up for the fight, just pick up the whole city with gravity manipulation and take it away. Later put it somewhere else where no-one lives, like in the middle of a desert or on Antarctica. Do not drop it into the sea, that would be a pain in the arse with tsunamis going everywhere. Also, the idea of everyone scampering off into an expedition to the artic to recover whatever they couldn't take with them during the evacuation amuses me.

Hell, maybe we could host all our fights in the air by levitating the whole city to work like a giant arena. We could even go below it during the fight to force the flyers to dogfight with us.
