As is often the case with fics like this, the fic runs out of steam at some point, in this case about 25 chapters in. The basic idea had just gotten stale, and the good chapters were getting rarer. Also, I don't think this engages well with One Piece as a story very well. I'm very much of the opinion that if you're writing fanfic of something you should at least try to respect its conventions, and some of the entries come off as mean-spirited toward the source material. Also, way too many villains peddling self-serving narratives, blah.AITA One Piece Edition by Anonymous

It's a script fic. It's a fucking script fic.Agents of I.M.P (Helluva Boss Actor!Verse)

30 years ago, two kids shows were made based on a book based on real events. The one from Hell told of brave Imp agents protecting their world from the machinations of mad humans, while the one from Heaven was a slice of life story of three Cherubs protecting humans from themselves. They began collaborating, and thus began the biggest cross-realm hit of the 1990s.
30 years later, a remake is made, much cruder, more violent and seemingly deliberately insulting to the characters that Princess Charlotte Morningstar adored so much. But there may be more than just Sinner ratings and anti-Heaven blowback behind this project.
Arrrrrrrgh!

The summary promises a fic about Goku training Ranma. I'm down for that. But that's not what we get. We barely spend any time with Ranma before switching to Ataru, and since I don't know Urusei Yatsura I just plain don't care about him. There's no forward momentum, no stakes, and no indication where this is going to go beyond "mash these series together".Goku's Students (Dragonball/ Ranma 1/2)

The fight ended before it had really even begun.
Ranma sat up, panting, covered in sand, as Goku offered him a hand. "You're not bad, you know," Goku said, grinning from ear to ear. "You've got a lot of potential, but you're a bit rough around the edges."
Ranma, still dazed, stared up at him. "What are you talking about?"
"You're strong," Goku explained, "but your power's untapped. You could be way stronger if you trained the right way. What do you say? You ever think about learning from someone like me?"
Ranma blinked. The offer was tempting. Goku had just wiped the floor with him effortlessly, and yet, here he was, offering to train him. The pride in Ranma fought against the humility of defeat. But deep down, Ranma knew—Goku was on a whole different level. If he could learn from this guy, who knows how far he could go?
"You're serious?" Ranma asked, slowly standing up and dusting off the sand.
"Of course!" Goku smiled, hands on his hips. "I don't meet people with potential like yours every day. And I'm always looking for a good training partner."
Ranma thought about it for a moment, then nodded. "Alright, I'm in. But I'm gonna beat you next time, you hear me?"
And I'm sorry, but Ataru impressing Goku with his speed just plain doesn't compute.
