Crossville Hero Brigade GO!

[X] Snow: Phantom Kamen Rider – There's a Kamen Rider in Crossville but nobody's seen them. The only clue is the sounds of motorcycles racing through the streets at night. Something's definitely fishy here and you're gonna find out just what (Investigation/Combat)
[X] Blossom: Heroes' Weekly – A reporter from the famed superhero magazine wishes to have an interview with a member of the Guardians. If all goes well, the public should receive a better impression of the Crossville Guardians. (Diplomacy)
[X] JJ: Beast Hunt – There's something dangerous preying on the livestock of farmers down South. Best take it out before someone gets hurt or worse. (Combat)
[X] JJ: Meeting with the Maverick – You've got information on a weapon's deal that's going down in Crossville West. A rogue super-soldier is either buying or selling weapons to several criminal representatives and you need to learn more and the only way to do that is sneaking into the meeting (Infiltration)

Blossom is currently only really good at diplomacy, so let her be the cute face of the team while we smite some evil.
I'm concerned about the fact that Blossom has absolutely no experience in actual heroics and asking her to represent the organization she has just joined seems like a bit much to ask of her.
Otherwise I can't argue with your choices as you do make a good point on their strengths.

Crap, I messed up! AP for training. Mission is a separate choice altogether for JJ. Sorry!

Okay then, can we get a hint on how many missions that JJ can take?

JJ takes one mission just like the other heroes. Week 0 he had more free time but now that the Crossville Branch is officially open, he can only do one mission/task a week at the moment. He also receive two AP for training up skills or powers.

Snow

What about Patrolling? Does that take a mission AP?

[X] Investigation
[X] Beastman

So much needs looking into, probably best to put something in that stat. I'm okay spending some time on Beastman unlocks.

Also, I'd rather nip potential super soldiers running around selling weapons in the bud, thank you.

@Zaratustra
W-wait a second, why send Blossom to Hero's Weekly? I'm fairly certain she has a trait that penalizes her -20 rolls to Diplomacy.

Snow
[X] Missing People Case – The number of missing people have gone up and the police are simply baffled. It sounds like they need some major help to solve this case before the missing people become lost for good. (Investigation)
Though Snow would be really useful on the infiltration missions, I think finding the missing people before they wind up dead should be a priority. Also shows that the heroes are willing to work with the police.

Misaki
[X] Phantom Kamen Rider – There's a Kamen Rider in Crossville but nobody's seen them. The only clue is the sounds of motorcycles racing through the streets at night. Something's definitely fishy here and you're gonna find out just what (Investigation/Combat)
Though she does have a penalty to investigation I'm hoping that the sheer anime exposure that follows her around will draw out the Kamen Rider.

JJ
[X] Beast Hunt – There's something dangerous preying on the livestock of farmers down South. Best take it out before someone gets hurt or worse. (Combat)
JJ's strongest skillset is in combat, and he's got the potions needed to act as support for the hunting group if the need arises. I think we should delay the interview until next week. It gives us the opportunity to gain some accomplishments before we're grilled in front of the press. We can give the excuse that we're busy settling in and hopefully we'll have some success to report next week.

[X] Beastman
[X] Diplomacy
I'd like to see what options we can unlock with Beastman and we need all the help that we can get with diplomacy.

[X] Misaki: Patrol the City – Heroes need to be seen out on the street, vigilant and ready to jump into action the moment trouble is spotted. Sure you could just stay in the command centre and listen in on the police radio but that kind of thinking won't do you any favour with the public. (Random Encounter)

Well, it seems I'm too late change the vote result. Nevertheless, the upgrade can still be done later on.

East Crossville
The Museum of Wonders will soon be holding a special exhibit where it is rumoured that the crown of legendary Guardian Founder, Majesty will be put on display, along with several of the hero's effects. Quite likely as Snow reveals that the owner of the museum has been spending money to improve every aspect of the museum's security measure. She also informs you that several collectors are now

There seems to be a line missing here. In any case, it seems there's lots of stuff to do. What happens with the missions we don't choose? And are we obliged to take a task?

JJ technically has Stealth instead of Infiltration, but I guess it has the same effects.

[X] Investigation
[X] Time Control

Can we choose for other party members to train besides/in addition to JJ?

Lastly, I assume that unless it is mentioned otherwise, the other heroes have a skill rating of 0 for any skill not listed in their sheet, right?

Right, thanks for the head's up. And you aren't obligated to choose a mission but those that aren't chosen may be resolved by themselves or not.

No, they'll be training on their own unless you choose to hang out with them on the weekend.

Also other heroes have a different template from JJ. They may or may not have a certain skill.

Trying to play to our strengths here. As of right now, we have the best combat capabilities out of everyone. As such, we should be sent on the combat mission. Plus, getting in contact with the other beast men might make things a bit easier on us. To a lesser extent, we may find some potential Waifu material among their ranks.

Snow is our best at infiltration and investigating. As such, the Maverick, VXR, and Missing person's missions are right up her alley. I'm good with sending her on any of these missions, but we need to make sure the public knows we care about them.

Blossom much better at diplomacy than us. As such, she should be the one to talk to the magazine. Yes it won't get her much combat experience, but we can train her up at the base for that. Plus, we need as much bonuses to our rep as we can get at this point.

As for the training, our Diplomacy still needs work. We just now learned how to be polite to people for God's Sakes! That needs serious work!

Time control, because bullshit time powers for the win.

Omake: On Heroes and Villains by The Grey Mage (+5 to next two rolls)

Omake: On Heroes and Villains
Gigavolt fell to the ground in two pieces. He hadn't been anyone important in the grand scheme of things, only a street level hero, whose only noteworthy qualities were the machines he made and his love of shitty puns. He wasn't anything special but, he saved me. Even after I stole from him, taking the tazer glove he'd probably spent months working on, he'd given his life for me without a second thought. He really deserved the title of 'hero', unlike this guy. Sword Saint flicked the blood off his blade and spat on Gigavolt's corpse. He said something, probably about how stupid Giga was for trying to save trash like me.

Unlike Gigavolt, Sword Saint was famous. His magic sword was impossibly sharp, gave him the strength to bench cars, the speed to outrun a horse and allowed him to heal any wound once every twenty four hours. It was that sword along with his own telekinetic powers that made him such a renowned hero. Unfortunately, it appeared he had a hobby of cleaning up trash like me in a more permanent manner.

I didn't care about that though. I didn't care who he was, or how many people he'd murdered, or even that he was going to kill me. All I cared about is that he had killed what was probably the only truly good person I'd ever met.

So when he stabbed me through the heart, I didn't gasp or cry or anything like that. Instead, I grabbed his sword with the tazer glove, turned it up to the max, and then used my power to turn it up even higher.

The alley exploded. The area around us was so bright that it probably looked like dawn was breaking at midnight. The dumpsters were incinerated, the buildings were shattered, the pavement around me had turned to glass. And Sword Saint? He'd been vaporized. I was alone in a ruined alley impaled on a magic sword. Before I died though, there was one thing I had to do. One thing I had to say.

"Gee Saint, no need to look so thunderstruck."
