Conflicting Views (PMMM/JJBA)

How exactly do we expect it to us information? It seems like it is only capable of talking through facial expressions.

Our only choice is to either take it to the witch or take it to the fighting.

Witch seems the better option since they're headed there anyway and Joseph would instantly see the trap.

Change mine to:
[X]"Do you know where your Stand User is?"
-[X] "Do you know where this place is?"
--[X] "Do you know how to get back out?"
---[X] "Do you know what you are?"
----[X] "Can you take me to someone who can explain these things?"

Well, this won't do. There aren't nearly enough opportunities to cause catastrophe and mayhem in this situation.

[X] Introduce yourself

-[X] Ask why the enemy Stand User has attacked you.

--[X] Make a valiant attempt to have the Stand answer your question with Charades instead of those emotiwhatchamacallits.

---[X] If successful, ask more questions. If not, "Well, take me to your Master then!"

So you start down the lefthand hallway moving at a comfortable walk, making the best of your cane to ease the pressure on your lower back.
My god, we're so frail. I was expecting us to be maybe slightly worse off than Part 3 Joseph, but we're as bad as Part 4. I just hope we aren't as senile.

Which means that our long-term goals have changed. Prevent the accident is now amongst them.

79 means that timeline wise it's 1999 which is years before any date for when PMMM supposedly takes place (which according to the wiki is 2011).

Unless the timeline is in flux Mami should be currently 4 years old right now.
There is nothing preventing TPK from shunting the Madoka timeline backward in time or the JJBA timeline forward in time for events to line up. I'm more inclined to think that the Madoka timeline will have been moved backwards simply because nothing in its setting actually requires it to be 2011, while JJBA requires Joseph to have fought the Pillar Men at the dawn of WWII.

I think you're all overthinking this

Trying to metagame stuff is going to bite us in the ass when our expectations are inevitably used against us, and the only way to find out things for sure is to ask the only in-game source of information we have right now.

Which means asking the Familiar questions, Joseph getting answers, and TPK revealing options about Joseph's capabilities and what we have to work with as a result of asking those questions

Hence my line of questioning. Which finishes up with having the familiar show us to someone who can actually explain things. Either it's cooperative or it's not.

If it's cooperative we move forward, if it's not we stalemate and the situation develops to allow further options.

A geriatric old man trying to keep up with a Witch and Magical Girl fight isn't just stupid, it's suicidal. In order to meaningfully affect the situation, we need workable information, which requires investigation.

So let's ask the questions, and at least make sure we have something to work with before throwing the senior citizen into the line of fire, alright?

Guys, it can only speak in emoticons. If we're going to interrogate it, let's ask it questions that it can actually reasonably answer with that restriction.

Who knows; things are already different from canon PMMM with what information we've been given so anything could be possible.

Problem with that is that asking questions wastes too much time and we need to reach the magical girls before they make it to the witch.

If anything we should ask the familiar if it can take us to the the people fighting before they make it to the "enemy stand user" and if that doesn't work try to head them off before they reach the witch.
