Children of Hades (DanMachi)

[X] Whoa, let's pace ourselves here.

I am fairly certain that the pancakes are bigger than us so even though I personally see that as a challenge I do not want Rooster to pop. (Though I doubt the reasonable choice will win)

Did Tessa just want a purely sexual relationship? She seemed disappointed that we didn't...

[x] Challenge accepted!

Since when did Rooster pace herself?

...can we relay-shrink someone for giggles?
If we shrink a Dwarf, would he/she become a mini-Dwarf, or a super Dwarf?

Because one of the things that signify dwarves are their size. So if you shrink them then you would be enhancing that trait. Meaning you would enhance their Dwarf-ness. Making A Dwarf more Dwarf-y=Super Dwarf.

Does any of this make sense?

[X] Whoa, let's pace ourselves here.

I actually want to get stuff done instead of being incapacitated by a stomach ache of epic proportions.

[X] Whoa, let's pace ourselves here.
While Rooster is a glutton she isn`t a fool, after the mini food coma she should know better, hell she is so tiny than she could sleep in a bed made of pancakes...

[X] Ask if she can sleep over one pancake (a plain one, otherwise is dirty) in her bedroom.
If she get tuck in with another there is a real chance of accidental vore around here.

Also Tessa look sad over been rejected, she knows than she lust after her and feel shame over it, but at least they are open about the status of they relationship, and it is always good.

Chapter 5: Part 10
[X] Challenge accepted!

Challenge accepted, bitches!

-o-

You awake in your bed, feeling a bit... overfull. And, judging from the covers, you're now regular sized. You groan as you pull yourself into a sitting position and rub your eyes. Sighing, you move to get dressed, choosing a plain beige tunic, light brown breeches, and dark brown boots. You prefer dressing in plain-colored clothes so as not to draw attention to yourself, and you prefer them baggy so as not to flaunt your figure.

You shuffle downstairs, to find the dinner rush has arrived. Leon stands up from where he's sitting next to Hero's Shade and Ian at the bar when he hears you come downstairs. That was an awfully quick reaction, though... Maybe those ears give him good hearing and he recognized your footsteps?

"Miss Ringabelle! It is good to see you are up," he greets, the two of you meeting halfway through the tavern floor. Leon bows politely to you. "You fell into what your Captain referred to as a 'food coma.' I'm afraid I must take my leave now, but I stayed because I couldn't bear to leave without saying goodbye to you while conscious."

You nod, noticing that several of the regulars are glancing over and grinning at you, and a few are shouting things like "Kiss him!" and "Get a room, you two!" Leon either doesn't hear them or ignores them.

"Uh... I appreciate it, Warrior. And..." You glance away, blushing and rubbing the back of your head. You ears fold and your tail lowers. "Thank you... f-for saving me."

He looks up, a small smile on his normally serious face. "I was only doing my duty. Anyone else would have done the same."

You think back to a few of the other Soma and Freya Familia Adventurers and... yeah, you doubt that.

Turning, Leon walks away, and goes... straight out the nearby window. Uh... Wow, weird. There was a door.

Sighing, you head for the bar and take a seat on the stool Leon was using. Flora is manning the bar, while Ian and Hero's Shade are to either side of you. You turn to Ian and he eyes you with a look... You spend a few moments trying to decipher it before coming to the best conclusion you can make. "I don't know, Ian... I guess I'll buy some replacement starter equipment from the Guild in the morning. Or maybe Urist can give me some more from his stash."

"Oh, speaking of the Deputies, Morn Rower stopped by while you were sleeping off that food coma, Rooster!" Flora exclaims.

"Aye, ya just missed 'im, in fact," Hero's Shade remarks over his large mug of mead.

"He actually left some souvenirs from his travels for you. For all of the Rookie Squad, in fact," Flora continues.

Your ears and tail perk up. "Souvenirs? Like what?"

You jump, your tail poofing up as Tessa pops up between Ian and you. "Presents? From Morn Rower?"

"Yup! Hang on, I'll give them to you."

Flora reaches under the bar and hands Tessa a white hairband.

"Tessa, Morn Rower instructed this be given to you. It's a Magic Item called the Harmless Hairband. So long as you wear it, Monsters will dub you 'harmless' and completely ignore you. However, the effect is temporarily broken if you attack or touch them."

"Wow. That's... a pretty powerful effect. A-Are you sure it's okay for me to have this?"

"Of course! Morn Rower does this a lot. Some of our Adventurer's best equipment were things Morn Rower picked up on his travels. That High Elf works himself to the bone for this familia."

Tessa nods and takes off her original hairband, replacing it with the Harmless Hairband. "Wow... it even matches my dress."

"As you for, Ian..." The silent Werewolf perks up. Flora retrieves what looks to be a katana in an ornate red and gold scabbard with a design of tigers going down it. The hilt is similarly red and gold with a the blade coming out of a dragon's mouth. "Ian, Morn Rower said this was for you. The blade is called Dragon King and it's a Magic Sword made from the fang of a dragon. The scabbard is called Tiger Queen and is made from hardened tiger hide. It's a very powerful sword and scabbard, probably around the power of a second-class special weapon. Use it well."

Ian pulls the sword out of its scabbard a notch to glance at the shining silver blade. He nods and resheaths it, then hooks it into his belt.

"As for you, Rooster..."

You perk as Flora reaches under the bar and hands you a spear. You take it and get a good look at it.

The spear is made of shining gold, the head a large, flat spike with hooks at the bottom edges. The shaft has a round red stone at the end, while the part of the shaft connecting to the spearhead is also inlaid with a round red stone.

"That... is the Gem-Sho," Flora explains.

You look at your Captain. "The Gem-Sho?"

Flora nods. "According to Morn Rower, it was crafted by a clan of craftsmen known as the Rikta. Part magic staff, part spear, part empathic weapon. The Gem-Sho cannot even be picked up by someone with wicked intentions for the weapon, unless they intend to return it to its proper wielder, which you can register yourself as by channeling raw Mind into it. The red stones are Spellstones of the highest quality. Frobo took a look at it and he theorizes it's made largely of artificially lightened hard gold, but both he and Urist claim it's far outside of what they or possibly anyone in Orario is capable of crafting."

"And... the Vice-Captain is giving this to me?" you balk, gaping at the beautiful weapon.

Flora smiles at you. "He figures it'll sync perfectly with your weapon of choice and Relay."

You smile, and nod gratefully to your Captain. "Thank you, Captain. And remind me to thank Vice-Captain when I see him."

"No need to thank me! I'm just the delivery girl. Also, it's supposed to be a surprise, but... Frobo's working on building a custom set of armor for you."

"What? B-But... No, I couldn't..."

Flora giggles. "Hey, Frobo felt that you losing your armor wasn't your fault. We don't know when your birthday is due to your amnesia, and you arrived just after the holidays, so... Just consider it an overdue present. It should be ready tomorrow."

Tessa turns to you, grinning. "Hey, hey, Rooster... Wanna head into the Dungeon to test out our new gear? Or would you prefer to wait until your new armor is ready tomorrow? We can stick to the first floor if you're worried..."
