Chapter 5: Part 3
- Location
- New York
[X] Continue trying to tame it. It should bow before our mighty catness.
No, no. You decided to try and tame it, and you're sticking to your guns. Time to assert your strength.
Then again... the poor thing looks terrified. It's downright trembling. You step a bare foot forward and it flinches in fear. You force a gentle, reassuring smile to your face and step forward, patting the little mushroom on the head.
...!
So soft!
It's squishy and warm! You shall call him Squishy and he shall be yours and he shall be your Squishy.
Picking up the little guy, you hug him to your bare bosom, squeezing the life out of the 'shroom. It struggles and writhes, trying to break free of your grip, but you hold it steady, just smothering the thing in some marshmallow hell. It's true, huggably soft and happily squishy is the way to be!
The thing really flails, then finally manages to break free and runs down the cave hall. You give chase, but your bare foot hits a pebble and you fall flat on your face, though luckily you have two cushions for your chest. When you pull yourself to your feet, the Golden Mushroom is gone...
Okay... Let's assess the situation. You're on the Fourth Floor of the Dungeon, half a foot tall, totally naked, too small for any your equipment, and don't have any status curing potions. At present, you have your claws and the ability to Relay your Mini status on any enemy you come across to bring them down to your size.
You could wait around, see if the status effect wears off... but you have no idea if it actually will or not.
You could try to make your way back to the first floor, Relaying and clawing any Monsters you come across, but who knows what might happen. However, you'd probably get some serious Exilia from it!
It's unlikely anyone might come down this dead end, but you might be able to try and find some help from another Adventurer. However, if it's one from the Soma or Freya Familia, they could try to take advantage of you...
What should you do?
