CHESS MAFIA

@Shalmoa, looks like you're off the chopping block, however this shakes out! Honestly I'm kinda glad; you seem a little scummy but you've been great to play with. I've had a lot of fun today and I hope you did too! No hard feelings for trying to kill you? :V

I mean, obviously keep scumreading me but no actual hard feelings?

It'd take a lot for me to develop hard feelings for a person over a game of mafia, but please stop sounding like you're considering night killing me lol.

Yeah I like that things have accelerated considerably.

I was waiting to open a Logos lane based on his GtH response but I'm pretty sure his response comes from a Town perspective. If not, it's at least consistent with his explanation for his Shalmoa vote.
They iirc

And so far I've got town leans on you, Logos, Nemo, Usili, and Shalmoa.

A lynch here will give information that can be used, and does have ~25% chance of hitting white still, so I'd prefer we not go for no lynch.

Pardon my unfamiliarity with the jargon, what does this mean?
Gun to head. If you had to snap vote and make a binary decision given to you what would you pick?

Its essentially putting someone on the spot.

I hate CFD's.

[X] Vote Evenstar

at this point I think a lynch is better than No Lynch, although if you asked me an hour ago I certainly wouldn't have opposed.

Phonr is having a seizure, but I think I sae an Evenstar post where she didn't respond to me or vote me, and I likr living, so.

Day 1 End
Day 1 End

The conversation begins somewhat aimlessly, and there is a certain lack of vigor among the pieces.

And yet in the final hours of the discussion, several pieces rally, saying a certain other piece is suspicious. The Forthright Black Army rallies, and escorts the piece to the capture box.

@Evenstar has been [Captured by Group Effort]. They were a Pawn.

Three cheers go up from the crowd as they've got one of the saboteurs already! But still, all feel a need to be vigilant. Certainly the enemy is likely to make their own efforts in the night, and only the infiltrators know for sure if all among those who argued against the one were truly loyal to the King.

Night 1 has begun. Night 1 ends in 48~ hours at

Less than 24 hours remain in the night and not all night actions are yet in.

If you don't have enough time, such as from ongoing events out in meatspace, I can extend the night if needed. This is not an unreasonable time to ask.

Day 2 begins
Day 2 Begins

Efforts are indeed made in the night, and by dawn one thing is clear to all. A loyal Rook is no more.

@Cyricubed, a Rook, has been [Royally Beaten] and [Fallen Afoul of Sabotage].

The pieces begin to mutter and discuss their next moves...

Day 2 has begun. Day 2 ends in 71 hours to avoid my delays pushing the cycle back farther, at

(This was somewhat of an unexpected edge case. I didn't have a reasoning pre-provided for what happens if a Rook is attacked in the same night multiple times. So you get both flavors as my best effort ruling. I might have hedged more but there's no other way per the rules for this outcome.)

Huh. So either the queen is not scum, or they knew he was a rook-
No, wait. He could have also bodyguarded someone, or had a kill deflected onto him by a knight. Still, at least this happened while we (probably) have a pawn to absorb it still alive?

Of course the first dang nightkill is an edge case you didn't expect!

Tempted to post a full scum-read of myself. Feel like I deserve it after yesterday. 😅

Anyway, nothing happened to me at night! How are you guys today?
