Dropping off Leviathen
You quickly add the number to your contacts list in your pokegear.
You turn the knob on the front door. Unsurprisingly, it's unlocked so you enter. The main room of the house is a large room with a green and brown tiled floor. In the middle of the room is a large green rug, on which sits a table and four blue chairs. In each of the four corners of the room sits a potted plant. In the back right of the room, there is a bookcase with it's contents neatly sorted. A PC similar to the ones used in Pokemon Centers is against the right wall.
Sitting behind the counter, you see an elderly man. The top of his head is completely devoid of hair but he has some white hair on it, along with a thin white beard. He greets you with a warm smile.
"Evening! Welcome to the Pokemon Day Care. M' name's Daniel." The man greets you.
"I'm Bard. It's good to meet you." You say."How are you doing?" You ask.
"Having a great day" the man says. "Anyway, we can raise your pokemon for you if ya' want. And from the looks of it, ya' have quite a few pokemon already" Daniel says.
"I may need you to raise some of my pokemon." You say. "I saw your sign outside. What exactly is this PC Transfer Service?"
"Oh that! That was Ossie's idea! You see, trainers used to have to come all the way back here when they wanted to take care of their pokemon again. But with the new service, we can transfer your pokemon straight to your PC, so you can pick them up from any Pokemon Center."
"That sounds convenient." You say. "So I can drop off pokemon using the PC too, right?"
Daniel suddenly gets a sheepish look. "We... we haven't been able to get that part working."
"Still, you can still pick up your pokemon from anywhere you can access Th' Pokemon Storage System." He reassures you.
"So, are you interested lettn' us take care of one of your pokemon?" David asks.
"Sure thing. I just need to get her from the PC" You say.
Withdrawing Leviathan takes a few seconds more than it really should. Mainly because since you can only carry six pokemon at a time so you need to deposit another pokemon, in this case, Adamantine since she's already in her ball, so you can get Leviathan out. You're slightly annoyed but it isn't that bad so you don't complain.
You hand the pokeball to David.
"I'm just dropping her off for a little while." You say.
"You know, we can raise up to two pokemon per trainer" David suggests. "If you want, we could raise another one"
"No, but thanks for the offer" You say.
"Fair enough" David nods, inspecting the pokeball. "But before you go, if you could fill out this portion of the binder." He points to an open binder on the table. It's filled with columns asking your name, the date, the pokemon you are leaving with them (which you note there are two slots) and your phone number. He points to the nearest empty one, the others already filled out.
You fill out the information, hoping that your chicken-scratch is legible. "And before I forget" David says while you are filling the paper out. "Every day at noon, myself, or my husband Ossie send you an update on how your pokemon is doing on your PokeGear."
You nod. "Sounds like it could be useful."
"Truly the wonders of modern technology know no limit" Daniel smiles. "I hope ya' have a good evening." He says to you.
You say your goodbyes and head out the door, though not before retrieving Adamantine from the PC.
