I was under the impression that a high ride rank was mandatory for Rider. Seems like something better expressed by something like A--.

Not really that big a deal either way, anyway.

It is when you consider that it is impossible to get Divine Beasts or higher without a Noble Phantasm.

'Can only ride one mount' isn't the sort of thing that would earn a high rank, even if the mount it very powerful.
Which completely irrelevant, since Riders only ever use their mount anyway. High rank of skill indicates how powerful it is, and it doesn't really matter if they can't actually use that power because of circumstances.

I mean, difference between "not being able to ride dragons" and "being able to ride dragons" is A+ to A++. That's 100 points.

If you want to make it "specialized", then make her only capable of using that one mount she has. You can either her being able to Rider all relevant shit, or have her have low Riding.

Fortunately for you, IIRC, the Yggdmillenia did their summons at a bit past midnight. Numeral of the Saint isn't currently active, unless someone proves me wrong here.
So we actually got a pretty good chance of facetanking him.

[X] Reinforce your body. Gawain won't expect you to respond by punching him in the face, and his confusion should buy time for the other Servants to shake off the blindness.

Let him get the hit in then. It won't kill us, and it'd put us at an advantage if he actually hits us and fails to hurt us, plus cement his reputation as a teamkilling loose cannon.

Do you have pictures of the other Servants?

[X] Use your Magecraft to hold him. He may have Magic Resistance, but a sudden wall should slow Gawain down
Gawain did draw his sword, so I don't think trying to face tank him, or get in a cheap shot in on an armed Saber class servant, is a good idea. Even without numeral of the saint, we have very good chance of injury. This is the most dignified option of the remaining three.

Same reason that Siegfried's Animal Dialogue is C. It should be higher, but it's too focused and brought down a lot.
Umm...Siegfried doesn't have Animal Dialogue. And what you're really describing sounds like it should really be A- or something along those lines; technically a high rank, but due to various factors it falls short in multiple aspects.

"Caules." He called. "If you want to preform the extra step of the ritual to ensure that your Servant is summoned with the modifications, I suggest you start now."

"Understood." Replied the boy, who stepped into the circle, and began to recite an aria under his breath. "Up Up Down Down Left Right Left Right B A Start."
glorious.

Is Gawain still Morgan's son in the Nasuverse?

Gawain was Morgause's son in the source material, along with Agravain, Gaheris, Gareth, and Mordred. It's not until modern times that Morgan got blended together with Morgause. In earlier stories, Morgan had a son named Ywain, who also had a half-brother named Ywain because their father, King Urien, had the imagination of a particularly dense rock.

Nasu-wise, I don't think Gawain's mother has ever been mentioned but there's been a lot of material released in recent times, meaning that someone else might know more.

Put bluntly, it's likely, as Morgan and Morgause appear to be the same person in Nasu, or at least as far as I've heard. Unless something else has been said in Garden of Avalon, Nasu seems to mostly be using the post romance materials and using romance material to fill in the gaps where post romance doesn't quite fit.

Wait, what?

Great... Not sure how I made that mistake. I'm sure I remember reading him having that skill, but it was probably just a fan sheet or something.

Since I was apparently mistaken there, I'll probably tweak Rider's rank when I'm not half asleep.

Since you're here Mort, can you weigh in on what I was asking about before? Is Gawain Morgan's son at least in the context of the quest?

... Gawain is related to Artoria though...

I don't recall anything in the Nasuverse that mentions this, though as we have established, my memory of the Nasuverse isn't as good as I had thought. Gawain may be related to Arthur in the myth, but since Morgause doesn't exist in the Nasuverse to my knowledge, and Morgan's backstory here doesn't really have room for her to be Gawain's mother, they're not here.

On a side note, I fixed Rider's Riding skill. If anyone else notices anything on the sheets that looks off, tell me, and I'll get right on fixing it.

... But in Nasu he's still Arthur's successor, right? He literally got the place on "next most legitimate heir". Thats why Mordred being Arthur's son in later tales is a big deal, even illegitimate, he's still more legitimate then Gawain.

Gawain is Artoria's nephew and has pulled regent a couple of times whenever Saber's been away and needed someone to fill in the throne. It's mentioned in Extra.

But fuck me if Extra Gawain in charge of a nation doesn't make me want to shit my pants in abject terror. :V
