Bloody Evolution (RWBY / LoR)

She sussed out Roland within half a conversation.

I'm not sure, that seems awfully long, are you sure it wasn't on sight? :V

Hence why I went with culture. No easier way to do it, good old peer pressure. And since people are generally too lazy to work their ass off for aura, it all works out :V

The most annoying part about the lack of it in canon is that it's not that difficult to find explanations, yours work, but so does a lot of the fanon ones, and giving it could just be a throwaway line, hell, they even did an entire set of video about remnant's history and they managed to go out of their way to not touch on this. :eyeroll:

By the way, since you did say you made Adam into less of a caricature, I want to take a guess at what you changed:

So, the most likely option is that you took the potential from his backstory, particularly, the brand, and ran with it (instead of letting it flop on the ground like a dead fish like they did in canon), meaning that he was scarred by his past (hey) and probably fought so that nobody else had to go through this. He got violent because the government IS corrupt (let's be honest, the SDC has way too much power with their monopoly) and the peaceful protests might work one day but would take way too long, probably was less genocidal than in canon too.

Now, the *problem* is why would Blake still leave? Except, we did see Blake, and it seemed like she still agreed with the white fang, what if, in this version, she actually is a white fang spy? Another possibility is that she left way more agreeably in this universe, she could have decided she would do more good as a huntress and have a discussion with Adam.

So much possibilities are open just by this change!

[X] Encourage Courage

I'm much more interested in what would happen to an Abnormality. Binah doesn't need the powerup, and where it might change something with Courage, Binah would most likely stay the same.

[X] Encourage Courage

We aren't doing this for power, but to find out if it's even possible for an abnormality, no?

As an Abnormality the Punishment Bird probably doesn't get fat, but for the sake of comedy, I'm hoping Sable grows big enough that people can just... lie face down in his feathers like a giant bed.

Edit:
Cute birb, glad the man is stuffing his face on it's fur it must be heaven.

on the other hand can I ask who is the artist?

Ugh...

I just got pissed off by wasted potential again...

It would've been so interesting to have Binah meet with (Chad)Adam and had a discussion with him. But we let him get killed...simply because thats how Love is.

@Naron how many characters are gonna be changed like this? I wanna ask first so we can go off on the assumption of fanon logic (the better one) instead of canon logic (aka no logic).

Should I expect Cinder to be different from her canon counterpart? I know based on your comments that Ozpin is different.

Ugh...

The tools abnormalities might have been the more interesting route here damn it.

Hard to say, really. Adam was one of the worst offenders. I do not want to give any specific numbers or names, either. You already met my version of Roman, so that is another. It does not help that quite the number of characters received so little screentime I am effectively making them from scratch anyway. See the twins and Junior.

Cinder is an interesting question, really. I have to admit that I actually like the way she was made as a person. My main gripe with her is the seven layers of plot armour that make her survive her own flaws so often when they should have gotten her killed several Volumes ago. So chances are she will remain just about as she is.

Welp guess this means we are gonna vote to dogpile her to death when the opportunity comes.

hmm, How much you guys want to bet that How big of a portion of the white fang at vale is going to be running around doing random street crimes like a headless chicken, just because their (he basically already is) leader is dead.
And their tuff is going to be shared like pizza.
... Also they are going to be in fighting a lot. So expect that our front door is going to be a bit noisy.

It's by MonoKubo, a Japanese Digital Artist who made a bunch of art about humans living in a world filled with giant, fluffy animals.

Such is the price of Justice. Don't worry, I'm sure they'll knock it off once Love and Sable are through with them.

I plan to. Then again, when has hiding information from Binah ever worked to begin with? She sussed out Roland within half a conversation.

Two hours later, only Melanie's faint sobbing can be heard. Courage returned to reading.
to be fair to everyone else, most people in general seem to detect Rolands sussy baka nature almost immediately with Angela being the only exception due to the amount of trust and affection she gains for him immediately after their first conversation. I
mean we see how she interacts with roland and when compared with the rest of the librarians I just don't see her giving roland as much shit or running away from him as much as she does to the librarians. Also a lot of the advice Roland gives to Angela warns her against people like him, such as not trust well dressed people from the back streets, but she just never catches on and continues to display complete trust for him.

Well, apparently her backstory song is stupid due to being a literal list of what she was doing in her youth, so there's that too, but yes, among all of Salem's close circle, she's the second best from what I know, Watts is the best from what I heard, Tyrian is a cackling moron that is only funny for five minutes then get boring and Hazel… is so stupid he probably is immune to aneurysm due to lacking a brain, to put it politely.

Anyway, my biggest problem with Cinder is indeed her surviving what happened at the end of season 5, seriously if you didn't actually want to kill her, you could've had it finish in another way than the classic *fall from great height and miraculously survive against all logic*.

It is quite funny to go through the star of the city conversations and see that he is constantly waving red flags with his questions and attitude, and she never reacts.

Though my favorite conversation between them will always stay the one at the end of the carnival reception, seeing Angela use puns to describe how she's going to inflict a fate worse than death on him if he continue is hilarious.

Edit:

Like, there is a moment where he ask point blank if she feels responsible for the pianist, and is clearly fishing for a reaction, Angela see nothing wrong.

You know that cutscene at the start of the impurity level?
Roland is literally testing the water and trying to find a good reason for him to overcome his guilt. About trying to kill off essentially the only person he connects to any more.
And Angela just standing there, giving him reasons. And just burn his guilt into the ground.
Is so fucking tragic and funny. The first time I saw that I just slammed my face in to my table.

"What? Time freezing is so much more easier than refrigeration. And it's cheaper, too."
" You do realize there are three people in your time stopping refrigerator."
" Where do you think I get The meat from?"
