Yeah, I think maintaining continuous relationship with her is actually a better choice. Especially if she seemed to have gone rusty from distancing her family from Seireitei and Gotei 13 in particular. Having extra tutor is always a plus. Maybe he can ask her to help with his kido as well?

Sole reason I have yet to change votes is because of staying with Kukaku until we learn has to large a lead. Once it surpasses Once a week, or Once a week surpasses staying, I will change.

I can't remember a time when Ichigo was dissuaded but I do remember him defying the Soutaicho to rescue Orihime. Granted it was because she was taken by Aizen and his Espada. On the other hand our goal is the complete the Acadamy in the shortest amount of time possible in order reunite with his sister because of his overprotective big brother complex so there might not be a difference to Ichigo's concerns and motivation.
