Beneath the Calm, a Brewing Storm - An ASOIAF NG

Oh...well on the bright side, Aerys is welcome to dote on Shireen and Jocelyn thus affirming their status as the centre of all things and Steffon's sensitivity to the suffering of others.

Heh. Not sure Aerys is the doting type.

Eh after a few rolls it should become obvious what the parameters are.

Honestly the best POD for this TL would have been little Aegon surviving.

Plus I have a general aversion to having my stuff rolled by others, especially according to secret tables. Feels so random and abrupt and invasive.

It would have been but Aery's kids clearly have some trouble with them and so a roll is necessary.

My apologies but I feel this will be best.

It might be because i GM a lot in the real world but i feel you need to have some rolls and roll tables secret from the players. It adds a nice element of uncertainty and GM control.

It might be heresy to say but it also let's the GM fub roles for the good of the game. Sometimes RNG good luck or terrible luck is bad for game play and the GM needs to intervene.

Depending on the case I may do so but only until then.

@Velasco

Hey, you don't mind if I leave a cousin in charge of White Harbor? Someone has to man the fort as it may and all. Lord Manderly is going there with his two sons and his immediate family.

I imagined so. Viserys will need to defeat Robert and Stannis in single combat before he can marry either of them though. The Baratheons have very high standards for grooms, you see.

Poor Dornish!Vis. He'll have to rope in uncle Oberyn for some help in the dueling department, no doubt.

Meanwhile, anyone want to do something with Aerys? Ironborn?

I just got outed as a known satanist in my CK2 game and everyone hates me now...
Sacrificed one too many virgin/children/dwarf? I know the feeling. Hopefully you where the top leige. Might be grounds for revocation and imprisonment if you are a vassal.

Also, watch out for Buffy and her wooden stake. She's in the game.

That sounds amazing, I haven't seen her yet, but then again when I roll satanist I'm always sneaky as fuck.

I'm a vassal of the HRE...granted, the most powerful vassal, but still a vassal.

I can't find any way to erase the "known satanist" modifier with console commands, or avoid it by going back to past saves...it sucks because I have a -50 modifier with literally everyone. How on earth can I do anything anymore???
