I'm having trouble trusting the other options due to the difficulty level. Hopefully this option won't backstab us.

Safe option. When we do access the facility though, I wanna try and disable all communications ASAP to prevent anyone from noticing a dormant facility has gone online/start putting out automatic signals. Once we know what we are dealing with in our immediate surroundings, then we can start looking at what's going on or getting access somewhere.
 
So once we get through this, our next order of business would be finding more deposits of usable nanomaterial?

From patching Surcouf's hull to crafting a bigger and better one, it has plenty of uses... not to mention she can now probably make her own Fog Fleet using her newfound processing powers.

Why make one when we can... 'acquire' one.

Pretty much. Having Habakkuk's core should be enough to let us back into their fold, to say nothing of the ties of 'friendship'.
Bringing them a bunch of new ships... well, they won't look a gift horse in the mouth. Even if the horse is trained to buck them at a word. :evil:

Doubt it.

If anyone with enough processing power could just make new Union Cores willy nilly, you'd think Musashi would have made new friends from the get-go instead of modifying existing ships to new configurations.

We're gonna have to force that information out from a Port since they're the ones responsible for making new Fog Ships, I think.
