When I look at pictures, Bazett looks red-haired to me.
[x] Ask Waver for his story.
"So what about you?" you ask, trying to straighten some of the bushes in front of the house. "I know you stole a relic from your professor, but what about before that? What kind of magecraft did your family teach you?"
Waver frowns and looks back at you. "Alchemy," he says. "And not some crazy bullshit 'make artificial humans with magical circuits for veins' alchemy, either. Good old fashioned chemicals and cauldrons."
"Alchemy, huh?" Rider says. "In my time, alchemists were still trying to figure out how to make lead into gold. You ever learn that trick, boy?"
"I...well, sort of," Waver waffles. "I can do it, but it's not my specialty. It takes me a while, and a lot of work; it's probably more efficient to just mine the gold."
"But you can claim to be capable of a feat even the ancient mages could not accomplish!" Rider yells, slapping the boy on the back. "That's no small thing, boy!"
"I'm sure any of my fellows at the Clock Tower could do the same thing, with less-" Waver blanches, his face turning bright white.
"What's this about your fellows at the Clock Tower, Waver dear?" the young woman at the gates of the house said. She wears an impeccable dark-brown suit, complete with a tie that matches her magenta hair. "And who's this new young woman you find yourself with?"
Waver freezes for a second. That's enough time for the woman to surge forward, launching a massive punch with glowing green fists that sends Waver flying through the newly repaired front door of the house.
"RIDER, GET HER AWAY FROM ME! USE YOUR NOBLE PHANTASM!" Waver yells in a panic. His hand glows red, and one of the three Command Seals in his possession vanishes from his hand.
Rider laughs simply. "A woman scorned, huh? Well, as you wish. WITNESS THE GREATEST NOBLE PHANTASM OF ISKANDAR! IONIOI HETAIROI!"
A massive desert filled with soldiers appears around you, replacing the pleasant Japanese town you just encountered. Well, only for a moment, though.
"HAVE YOU FORGOTTEN THE POWER OF THE MCREMITZ SO QUICKLY, WAVER?" the woman yells, grabbing a small silver sphere from her carrying case and tossing it into the air. "FRAGARACH!"
The ball transforms into a silver sword that flies straight through the air in an unerring line, instantly piercing Rider's heart.
"What...the..." are his last words, before the desert vanishes along with Rider.
"And now it's your turn, new girl!" The red girl folds her arms smugly, turning to you. "Gotta say, I didn't think Waver was the type to pick up new women so quickly, but I guess that whole adorkable thing must be a big help."
"We were just gonna team up for the Grail War!" you protest. "I'm not his girlfriend."
"You're right!" Bazett says, punching you into a wall. You hear your neck crack, and your head tilts distressingly to the side. "I AM!"
