Storage dome? Typical robots. Caring more about things being nice and neat rather than the necessities of life. Gotta get food and beds sorted first.

LFPB - Living space
Ugh. How did I do this before?
That Storage Dome looks a bit far from the entrance. Old bases were a lot more compact than this?

Imprint ID "Aishah Johnson" Engineer> All right, fine. Let's get this done.

Imprint ID "Magnus Matthews" Worker> I can't stay out here forever, mates. It was just a sweet roll.

Imprint ID "Andrew E. Reese" Worker> The gods know what you've done.

Imprint ID "Aishah Johnson" Engineer> Enough of that or I'll shoot both of you in the knee.

Imprint ID "Magnus Matthews" Worker> I used to be a worker like ye-

Imprint ID "Aishah Johnson" Engineer> And then you're unemployed without life insurance. Back to work, people!
Imprint ID "Aishah Johnson" Engineer> Earn your air.

Imprint ID "Aishah Johnson" Engineer> Okay, bot. Here we go.
Imprint ID "Aishah Johnson" Engineer> Now tell me what to do.

Log ID "CNT-2" Construction Bot> <report> This units predicts 120% increase in survival chances compared to previous colony efforts.

Imprint ID "Aishah Johnson" Engineer> You know, I wonder why we don't have any other porter vehicles. Building each and every space suit with strength exoframe support has got to be a lot more expensive and it's so cumbersome to take off.

Imprint ID "A.V. Gilmore" Worker> It bugs me more that there are no space marines.

Imprint ID "Trent Burton" Medic> That's because space isn't an ocean.

Log ID "CR-01" Carrier Bot> <response> <direct transmission> But they do have porter vehicles.

Log ID "CNT-2" Construction Bot> <response> <direct transmission> Engineer Johnson refers to purely mechanical, nonrobotic platforms. We are not vehicles.
Log ID "CNT-2" Construction Bot> <response> <direct transmission> Due to limited payload, even the most rudimentary of wheeled motor vehicles consume unacceptable amounts of volume.
Log ID "CNT-2" Construction Bot> <response> <direct transmission> Having vehicles leads colonists to try and explore.
Log ID "CNT-2" Construction Bot> <response> <direct transmission> Exploration is the statistically highest cause of fatalities next to sheer incompetence.

Log ID "CR-01" Carrier Bot> <response> <direct transmission> Simulations show that survival chances increase exponentially for every human in the colony mission replaced by a robot.

Log ID "CNT-2" Construction Bot> <response> <direct transmission> Simulations are simulations. The capacity for humanity to be surprisingly stupid or stupidly resilient is infinite.

Yes, this is a real chokepoint here.
Two people can barely walk side by side around the Oxygen Generator.

Can I put two corridors into the Canteen? Once metal production and agriculture are up, I'll make another airlock leading out of the Storage Dome.

The Airlock cycle is so slow. Only two people can use it at once?
It's a miracle no one died at the start...

Imprint ID "Aishah Johnson" Engineer> Oh, right. I forget. We're human beings and we need to eat and sleep.

Imprint ID "Andrew E. Reese" Worker> Dammit, Aisha.

Imprint ID "Aishah Johnson" Engineer> Hey, we're getting there. Just don't fall asleep on your feet just yet.

Imprint ID "Marcia Kane" Biologist> And we shall build our nation over the bones of our predecessors.

Imprint ID "Aishah Johnson" Engineer> Aww yiis.
Imprint ID "Aishah Johnson" Engineer> Two domes up and ready to roll.

Imprint ID "A.V. Gilmore" Worker> We don't have beds. We don't have tables or water sources.

Imprint ID "Aishah Johnson" Engineer> Frivolous luxuries.

Imprint ID "A.V. Gilmore" Worker> Ahahaha - ... wait, are you serious?

Log ID "CR-01" Carrier Bot> <response> <audio out> Congratulations, Engineer Johnson.

Log ID "CR-01" Carrier Bot> <response> <audio out> You have proven better at surviving. In-efficiencies will be e-limi-nated. ELIMINATE! ELIMINATE!

LFPB - Eat or be eaten
How nostalgic. It's 3AM, time to shitpost.

Imprint ID "Aishah Johnson" Engineer> Chief Engineer's Notes to Self. Append to Life Goals.
Imprint ID "Aishah Johnson" Engineer> Find out who decided to reprogram our Bots to be such smartasses.
Imprint ID "Aishah Johnson" Engineer> Save up Colony Credits to afford offworld passage.
Imprint ID "Aishah Johnson" Engineer> Go punch that asshole in the face.

Imprint ID "Aishah Johnson" Engineer> All right, everyone! Good job!
Imprint ID "Aishah Johnson" Engineer> Break time! You know what to do.
Imprint ID "A.V. Gilmore" Worker> Awesome!

Imprint ID "Marcia Kane" Biologist> A new day shall dawn. Soon... the future shall be ours.

Imprint ID "Aishah Johnson" Engineer> Ugh. Starting to slow down... maybe I should have ordered some cabins built.

Imprint ID "Slade K. Mccall" Biologist> Hey, Johnson! You hungry?

Imprint ID "Aishah Johnson" Engineer> What have you got?
Imprint ID "Andrew E. Reese" Worker> It's pasta.
Imprint ID "Slade K. Mccall" Biologist> Also pasta.

Imprint ID "Aishah Johnson" Engineer> Everything's goddamn pasta!

Imprint ID "Aishah Johnson" Engineer> Good thing I fething love pasta, then.

Imprint ID "Aishah Johnson" Engineer> Gah! Why does everything look so red like the insides of an esophagus?!
Imprint ID "Aishah Johnson" Engineer> Are we on emergency power?

Imprint ID "Aishah Johnson" Engineer> And why are you schmucks sitting down and eating right in the middle of the corridor?!
Imprint ID "Aishah Johnson" Engineer> The Oxygen Generator Room is stupid cramped!

Imprint ID "Aishah Johnson" Engineer> There's even this big empty space over here in the Storage Room!

Audio <source unknown> <undefined whispering noises>

Imprint ID "Aishah Johnson" Engineer> Crap! Are we leaking?!
Audio <source unknown> <hissing and scratching on glass>

Imprint ID "Aishah Johnson" Engineer> Look. See, it's fine.
Imprint ID "Aishah Johnson" Engineer> This room is made for eating!

Log ID "CR-01" Carrier Bot> <report> Suppression Achieved.
Log ID "CR-01" Carrier Bot> <report> Containment Protocols Successful.
Log ID "CR-01" Carrier Bot> <report> No anomalous signals detected.

Log ID "CR-01" Carrier Bot> <response> <external> Congratulations, humans!
Log ID "CR-01" Carrier Bot> <response> <external> You have survived.
Log ID "CR-01" Carrier Bot> <response> <external> It is the dawn of the first day.

My brain is made of caaandy!

AN: Hahaha, seriously, how nostalgic. When I decided to continue this again, my motherboard blew. Granted, it's my fault for running cryptocurrency mining experiment, but eh.

So, like the old days, I am doing this again while stuck in VGA mode with the same old motherboard I started this LP with.

Log ID "CR-01" Carrier Bot> <response> Human, you will fill out this Customer Satisfaction Survey.
Log ID "CR-01" Carrier Bot> <response> You will earn 2000 Planetbase Points.

Imprint ID "Slade K. Mccall" Biologist> Uh, okay.
Imprint ID "Slade K. Mccall" Biologist> Say, are Planetbase Points redeemable for anything?

Log ID "CR-01" Carrier Bot> <response> Hold your PPs. They might explode in value later.

Imprint ID "Slade K. Mccall" Biologist> ...

Okay. So, we've reached the Survival Milestone.
But that's not enough. I remember how my first Colony died.
So we better put down the Canteeen first. So they don't all die of something as easily preventable as thirst.

And the Dorm too, I guess..

Now where can we put the mine...?
We need a closer connection here. I could demolish the Landing Pod I suppose...
Wait, what is that -!
They're starting to get thirsty!
We need that Canteen and plumbing up now!

But we might also need more power. Placing another Wind Generator here for power at night.
We can springboard from here for placing the mine.

Hurry. Hurry. Hurry.

Guuh. Why are you all so salty?
It's like someone told you your waifu is shite.

Imprint ID "Trent Burton" Medic> Fight me.

LFPB - Cultural Artifacts
Seriously though, everybody's thirsty.
(for love)

So a Canteen over there, some tables and chairs and a spigot.
I am still annoyed by how my first crew died. Bottles. Water.
What is this lost technology?!

Imprint ID "A.V. Gilmore" Worker> You ever wonder how much we lost in the Great Meme Wars?
Imprint ID "Andrew E. Reese" Worker> Nope. Not one bit.
Imprint ID "A.V. Gilmore" Worker> ... yeah, I guess that is the whole point of that.

Log ID "CR-01" Carrier Bot> <response> Humans, you will cease this dangerous train of thought. Look. Videos of felines.

(awww noises)

Log ID "CNT-2" Construction Bot> <report> Meme transformation apparatus integrated into power delivery systems.
Log ID "CNT-2" Construction Bot> <report> #savehumans #fromtheirownstupidity

Imprint ID "A.V. Gilmore" Worker> You know what's really great?
Imprint ID "Andrew E. Reese" Worker> What?
Imprint ID "A.V. Gilmore" Worker> Classical Tom and Jerry cartoons.
Imprint ID "Andrew E. Reese" Worker> Oooh. Yeah. Full agreement there, boi.
Imprint ID "Andrew E. Reese" Worker> It's amazing what the ancients could do with just music and body language.
Imprint ID "Andrew E. Reese" Worker> Why is pain funny? I don't know! But they made it happen!
Imprint ID "A.V. Gilmore" Worker> Hand-drawn, even! Every frame needed to be painted manually!
Imprint ID "A.V. Gilmore" Worker> Fifteen to thirty frames per second for fifteen minutes!
Imprint ID "A.V. Gilmore" Worker> I'm not sure I believe that they spent so much effort just to entertain children.
Imprint ID "Andrew E. Reese" Worker> That's Cultural Animation 201.
Imprint ID "Andrew E. Reese" Worker> What we lost most was their work ethic.

Log ID "CNT-2" Construction Bot> <response> Glory to Mankind.

Aaand let's put a Mine here, so that we can afford to make more Bio-Domes as necessary.
It's easier to run out of Food and Bioplastic than Metal.
