[X] [Continent] Anima: Boasting a mastery of the sea and many natural luxuries, Anima is the home of the Mistralan and Republics of the Nikean cultures.
[X] [Culture] Nikean: Spartan and philosophic.
[X] [Government] Nikean City-State
[X] [Religion] Progenitors: Scattered ideals, united in memories of the past.
[X] [Supernatural] Supernatural Events: But can that which dies eternal lie? (The Wizard Oz, The Witch Salem, The Silver-Eyed, other strange things)

Ohh, City-state, eh? Almost feudal but not quite.
Wait.... can QMs even vote on their own quest?

Character Creation: Part 1
With the declaration of home and country, you are the rightful ruler of Letum, proud City-State of the Morian League. Your people are Progenitorists, irking the local power structure of Scions in the rest of the league, though your troubles internally have made you some friends elsewhere among the faithful and the tolerant.

As the firstborn of your parents in a land of Primogeniture inheritance, you were expected to have a youth spent preparing for lordship...

[] You were trained to be an expert Diplomat. (++Diplomacy, +Intrigue, +Learning, -Martial)
[] You were brought up in Battle. (++Martial, +Stewardship, +Intrigue, -Learning)
[] You were taught Numbers. (++Stewardship, +Martial, +Intrigue, -Diplomacy)
[] You learned Subtlety. (++Intrigue, +Diplomacy, +Martial, -Stewardship)
[] You were raised in Reverence. (++Learning, +Diplomacy, +Stewardship, -Intrigue)

You were like any other, with quirks and eccentricities...

Choose up to two traits (you can only add two additional traits using negative traits, for a total of four).

LIFESTYLE TRAITS

[] Bastard: According to the laws of your people, you are slated to inherit. That you were born out of wedlock by your queen mother, father unknown, is merely meaningless detail... (+1 trait pick)
[] Augmentation (Limb): You have previously suffered terrible injury, but you have since had the lost limb replaced with cybernetics! (Can be picked repeatedly, must specify a limb each time)
[] Huntsman Training: You have received training from a huntsman in youth, and know a number of advanced techniques reserved for those with aura. (Unlocks Aura)
[] Huntsman Graduation: You have been appointed as a Huntsman in full, and are capable of taking on your own apprentice. Requires Huntsman Training.
[] Semblance: You possess the hallmark of a true Huntsman, a Semblance, the reflection of your soul. Semblance Write-in goes in second generation segment. (If you do not have an unlocked aura, gain your semblance immediately upon unlocking it)
[] Grimm Expert: You have learned much about the dark creatures of the world.
[] Hedonist: Pleasure is the purpose of life.
[] Natural Leader: You are a leader of men, and your presence both inspires and attracts followers. (counts as 2 trait picks)

[] Strategist: You have practiced and trained in the Art of War.
[] Hunter: You are an accomplished hunter of beasts.
[] Architect: You have spent some time learning the art of construction.
[] Administrator: You are a capable organizer of others.
[] Torturer: You have mastered the art of interrogation, to the distaste of others.
[] Dust Expert: Glittering crystal, destructive powder. You know a few techniques to ensure more of the ubiquitous Dust falls into your hands and stays there.
[] Scheming: You know your way around any court's intrigue, given a few minutes.
[] Silvered Tongue: You can make anyone believe anything.
[] Scholar: You are a well-educated person of merit.

[] Dim: If you work hard, you may yet succeed. (+1 trait pick)
[] Strong: In this hell beyond the end of civilization, might makes right.
[] Weak: You are not the most physically capable of people... (+1 trait pick)
[] Agile: You are limber and flexible.
[] Giant: You are, put simply, towering.
[] Small Frame: You are smaller than most, and while this makes you about as easy to ballpark the age of as a shonen protagonist, it also makes you more able to fit in smaller spaces, and slip around others' guard.
[] Wellspring Soul: You overflow with spiritual essence, making your aura stronger than normal! (Unlocks Aura)

PERSONALITY TRAITS

[] Randy: You're always up for a tumble in the bed.

[] Craven: You are a disappointment of leadership material. (+1 trait pick)
[] Shy: You are not fond of crowds, or strangers.
[] Arbitrary: You are less than consistent. (+1 trait pick)
[] Cynic: The gods are dead.
[] Odd Customs: When it comes to religion, you're borderline heretical.
[] Paranoid: You didn't get where you were today by blindly trusting people who want to use you.
[] Stubborn: When your mind is set, it would take the force of devilry to dislodge you from your course.
[] Dramatic: You expect ostentatious displays and outbursts of emotion in your court, like a living play for your amusement, you are also not half bad at faking them yourself.
[] Chaste: You were never one for carnal pleasure.
[] Kind: You are good to others, so that they may be good to you.
[] Honest: What you think, you often say.
[] Brave: You are first into the breach, and last to leave!
[] Gregarious: You are the life of the party, always with a thought to share.
[] Just: You hold yourself to a high standard. There is right and there is wrong, and even if it's not good, you can, at least, do right by others.
[] Zealous: You have faith, and your faith gives you strength!
[] Trusting: You offer others faith in their word, which people like about you.
[] Erudite: You have a love of books and the acquisition of knowledge.
[] Calm: You are a rock of solidarity in a storm of emotion.
[] Quiet: You do not make much noise, preferring silence.

OTHER TRAITS

[] Touched of Destiny: You were meant for greater feats and greater things than mastery of a single City-State.
[] You have my Attention: We are watching you.

PLANNED VOTES ONLY!

There will be a lot of people in our way to the top. Most of them could be improved by stabbing or blackmail.

(I'm actually okay with Master of the Castle, though I would suggest you take another look at Quick instead of Calm. It's a lesser version of Genius but still potent.)

I'll blow mine to go +intrigue, in preparation for my plan.

Edit: Changed to +Stewardship, because I misread the wording.

[X] Plan: Master Of The Castle

Plan Full Hunter feels a little risky since we're just starting out and unless the plan is to take on apprentices and start cranking them out like crazy, I'm not sure what the plan is for that build.

[X] Plan: The Spider
You learned Subtlety. (++Intrigue, +Diplomacy, +Martial, -Stewardship)

I want to see us in the center of the political web, every plot, every assassination, every little detail wrapped around our little finger.
Let's not get a genetic trait right off the bat. Let's do the Eugenics game for that, since it won't stack with genius.
I think you guys would rather enjoy the skullduggery.

Edit: I know it's similar to the Knives in the Dark, but I really want to be the one person in the Court which is always there, always the quiet one, always the dependable one. The one person you go to in order to get advice that is never to be shared with anyone. The one person who can be depended on to remove a blemish on your honor. The one who you can trust utterly...

And the one whose blade will be at your throat when you least expect it.

I'm putting my bonus to +Learning.
Would like to request again that you at least consider Quick vs Calm. I'm not sure what Calm really does that's central to the build vs Quick's universal applicability.

Backstabbing people when not a Hunter is a little sketchy. You have to really be careful and have power players at your beck and call to do your duty work to advance.

Personality traits are more than just a set of attribute values. Many of them can open up unique answers to some types of events. Quick and Genius, however, are examples of purely attribute-based traits. They will give you what they give you, and no more, it's up to the increased stat-line to deal with your problems from that point out.

Let me counter both of your arguments real quick. While Quick is a very versatile trait (at least in base CK2, unknown how PoW is going to use it here), Calm would actually be a really good trait for ensuring our emotions would never get the better of us. It doesn't matter how mentally quick you are when you're emotionally compromised, and we are not Yang. Being in control of yourself is a good trait, and while you would think it would be bad because it's not a genetic trait...

I actually dislike genetic traits. The reason for that is because you only have one chance to give those traits to your children at birth, and it's a low chance even if your wife also has that trait (15%!). Big boosts, but ones that you'll likely need a large amount of children to really see those traits. As any CK2 player will know, too many children can destroy your Kingdom.

Clam, on the other hand, is a personality trait which you can educate your children to have, leading to a chain of calm rulers, which gives the Dynasty a reputation of working really well under pressure. That's a good reputation to have in the great game.

Now, on to the next claim.

Backstabbing people while you're not a hunter is sketchy, it is dangerous, but that is true even as a Hunter. An Unlocked Aura doesn't automatically mean you can't be killed, and a Hunter that is also a ruler is more closely watched than non-Hunter rulers. The secret to being a Spider is not to be watched at all. That's why I grabbed Quiet when I took Torturer. The easier that we can bury our secrets, the longer it will be before a knife ends up in our backs.

Now, the assumption that you make is that we will personally stab people in the back, which I can see in your plan name. The one who actually does the back stabbing is a nameless, experienced assassin who will plant the evidence of the murder on some other poor sod, or a political rival, or an angry boar. Actually going out to kill someone personally is sketchy, dangerous, and ruinous to your reputation if you are found out. That's what your spymaster and your hired thugs are there for, after all. (I want to make it clear, I'm not personally attacking you there. I'm just giving my own opinion, and unfortunately the sneering, intrigue based self of mine is coming through there.)

Besides, what's a better time for getting rid of a rival than calling a Tournament and rigging one of the opponent's lances to not be a tourney lance? It was an unfortunate accident, after all.
