Besides that, approval vote to America, I don´t really want to go to a country that can erupt into a civil war any minute.

So...are Japanese politics going to be any different in the world of this quest? Just curious whether or not this piece of living excrement will still manage to become PM of Japan.

The Japanese Imperial family dying out would be a plus for me. Frankly, Infertility is a much nicer way to go than they deserve.

That doesn't really add up though. Southern China was always wealthier than the north OTL. Between most Chinese emigrants coming from there (remittances), overflow from European treaty ports like HK, and the KMT's focus on the region (Guangdong was arguably Sun's stronghold, while Jiangsu was Chiang's), it always had the edge.

(This is honestly a minor quibble, it's not immersion breaking or anything)

No less than the Japanese, that's for sure.

To America would have been my preferred option but I'd rather increase the China vote than Japan.

I don't think the modern family deserve it, but Hirohito and co most definitely do.

I probably should have clarified 'the Imperial family of the 40s and 50s'. Lots of escaping justice in that circle, but I suppose it's to be expected with postwar Japan.
