To channel the Dark Side you must be in the throes of emotions (doesn't need to be a negative emotion), surrendering yourself to you passions and desires.

The very mindset that allow you to be a master of one side disqualifies you from understanding the other. You can't master the Light Side and strike someone in anger. You can't master the Dark Side and refrain from doing so.

Now nearly every power exist on both sides. The difference is mainly Dark Side powers doesn't work without strong feelings (so you cannot heal people you don't feel strongly about) while Light Side powers are more reliable and more defensive in nature.

what about those who use both light and dark? Mace and his use of Vaapad, Revan and grey jedi. Dark side can used as force of good i mean look at Darth nox or Darth Vectivus.

Vaapad is complicated. On one hand it's certainly close to the Dark Side but it's also close to Obi-Wan instinctive use of Soresu where he commits himself to be the instrument of the Force. I would still classify the form as a Light-sided version of Juyo because a core point is to accept the darkness of the opponent and sends it back to him which is a thing who cannot be achieved with wild passion alone.

Grey Jedi are cynics who disagree with the Order but generally they are Light Side. Jolee Bindo approve of nearly zero Dark Side acts during Kotor and well the Order is not the Light Side.

Revan did not master the Light and Dark at the same time. He was a great Jedi mighty in the Light, he fell to the Dark Side (remember people all characters asserting Revan didn't fall are either liars or sociopaths) and became mighty in the Dark. Then he was brainwashed by the Council and returned to the Light Side.

The Dark Side can totally be a force of good. I mean there is nothing inherently evil in even the Sith code. It's just a point of view asserting the primacy of emotion and the self. You can have a Dark Side Anakin who is nothing worse than a brutal anti-hero. Notably because his greatest grudge is for Jabba and the masters of Tatooine.

But you can't master the Light and the Dark at the same time. At best you can dabble in both, being serene at a moment and emotional in others but that's not true mastery.

BTW for the "Dark Side can be used for good" I'd advise not using Vectivus and certainly not using Nox. For all we know Vectivus could very well have been made-up partly or wholly by Lumiya to lure Jaden and in any case even if he wasn't puppy-kicking evil, he still did his part accumulating ressources for the Sith grand plan.

And Nox. Are we talking about the same character, the Dark Side Inquisitor in TOR? Because if I remember correctly we are talking about the most sadistic Imperial player character in the game with a fetish for Lightning. He kills Thanaton yes but it's in self-defense and killing Sith is normal for a member of the order.

can you give us a idea about advantages and disadvantages of training styles of Yoda and Dark Woman(Their focus and unique skills that can only learn from them)? If we left the order what will be their reactions?

The Dark Woman is both a stealth specialist able not only to turn invisible but also intangible. She can manipulate life and grow plants. She is a great healer and despite appeareances very focused on compassion. She didn't exactly seek Aurra Sing after her abduction by pirates so she would be pretty ok with you leaving the Order. Not everyone is able to abandon one's name to the Force after all.

Yoda would never divulge his greatest secrets to someone who would leave the Order. He knows every force techniques of the Light Side including severing someone from the Force and the brainwashing the Council subjected Revan to. His greatest asset is his experience means you can justify learning about everything from him. If he doesn't know it, he knows someone who do. It wouldn't let you learn Vapaad by instance without first impressing Mace but Yoda's blessing could let you access the Holocrons and the Artifacts of the Jedi Temple.

Is it possible for us to create a new sword form like Vaapad?
 
It's a good end quest objective, pretty epic in its own right and consistent with Anakin capabilities as Vader's style was highly personalized.

Personally i prefer conquest type developments, i wonder can we complete our knighthood and act more independently, like learning from other force sects without miffing Yoda? How about creating information network or increasing personal wealth is yoda ok with those as long we does not leave the order?

what about romance? is he ok with it? i mean few of the order was able to do just that few even got children and wives but still were accepted by the order.

On one hand you don't like him very much. He walks like one of the masters confident and self-assured. You think he wouldn't like the stories about Ekreth very much. Still he kneels and looks at you in the eyes and you feel his grief touching yours. : «I am Dooku. I was Qui Gon's master and I will be yours» His tone brooks no refusal but you are more interested in the curved hilt of his lightsaber than anything else.

Nope

By joining the Jedi you join a monastic order serving the republic. You are a Knight of the Republic and your role is to serve. Personal wealth and influence are anathema and everything must be given to the Order. The Jedi have seen what happens when they are allowed to head major corporations and they don't like it. It's the same reason why they renounced holding political office.

If you want personal power, you must leave the Order and depending on the scale of your ambitions go outside Republic space. Good luck with trying to compete with the Hutts or even Palpatine.

Romance is anathema too. A Jedi must strive to love everyone and attachment goes against that. Anakin in canon rather proves them right on that point. Ki Adi Mundi is the only Jedi allowed to have wives and to be fair it's something I would rather retcon as it was introduced before Attack of the Clones made canon the Jedi had a no attachment rule, and it's for species reasons.

    I want to for once play an actual loyal Jedi (even though they are flawed) instead of an edge-lord who thinks they can do better than an order that has survived, at least in this iteration, for a millennia.

You have several ideas to do that, going from the impractical and certainly not allowed by the Jedi to the devious. For the moment you continue in your ambition of creating a scanner to see where the transmitters bombs are hidden in their flesh. To create something that can be efficient, easily hidden and crafted by slaves is difficult but you will manage, there is no other options. This Aspect will be used to compel you to turn your mind into Tatooine and the plight of slaves. You can invoke when doing things dedicated to the end of slavery or links with the Tatooine diaspora.
