This seems to be sabotage and an attack using droids. Possibly linked to the CIS, though probably not Palpatine's plan for reasons

...That could make things REALLY messy...
On the other hand, this would really throw a huge amount of the clone wars out of whack due to the events on Kamino, more than any other option I feel.

Currently leaning on this, for the sheer chaos factor that this stunt and reveal would have...
I mean, cloned jedi with force powers is kind of something that can't really be ignored, and honestly, I suspect that this stunt could have a massive impact on the clone wars.

Well the Clone Wars are pretty much butterflied away at least in their canon form. You arrive on Kamino well before Jango Fett was chosen as prime clone template. For the Kaminoans the army has been ordered but their contact Sifo-Dyas has not provided the model.

Simply warning the Jedi about Dooku has made Palpatine review and change most of his plans on the fly.

...I guess this then leaves the question of what exactly is going on here, though still lean towards the clone jedi option, so at least people would be aware of the theoretical possibility of someone cloning themselves an army of Sith or Something. And also could highlight some important questions that were overlooked by the order.
