I think you are underestimating all the social shenanigans that will take place if Taylor returns from Winter Break as a near-giant. She can be drafted into a girls sports team, inadvertently intimidate people, and kabedon Emma in search of explanation for her changed behavior.

Keep in mind that this story is taking place in the Winter Break before Emma and Sophia go totally overboard in their bullying of Taylor with the locker incident. There could potentially be a major break from Canon based on how Taylor becoming an athlete or intimidating figure changes their perspective on her.

Not underestimating. It is literally the least interesting option to me on that list.
Taylor is already tall btw.
The trio would do anything to keep her off a team, and Taylor would never join them once she realizes she has powers. It is illegal for parahumans to be on sports teams.

There is a pretty major difference from a slightly tall highschool girl and someone 6 foot 2. That would be near-giant even for an adult.

My take is that Taylor shows up and is near immediately drafted onto a sports team. The trio aren't all powerful and Taylor wouldn't consider herself a Parahuman as she doesn't possess an undeniable power.
 
The problem with that idea is the timing. This is the winter break, that the first day after is when the Locker happens. Any changes that happen, the first day they will likely see anything related to them is the trio trying to push Taylor into the locker.
 
The only real benefit is that she might not fit in the locker at all at that point.

That is a sound argument. I wasn't aware of the exact timeline as the Worm Wiki only has it in January. I still think that Taylor being a near-giant might disrupt their plans as three high-school girls physical manhandling a 6 foot 2 giant into a locker would be far more difficult. They might also back off out of a sheer intimidation or the belief that Taylor has now become a "predator".

They put it in on either the last day of school, or the first day of Winter Break after breaking into the school. Which is easy because Shadow Stalker and broken cameras.
 
On a related note: Here are some pictures I created using PixAI to show more of my thoughts on Tall! Taylor. The more extreme muscled images would be after she has extensively worked out or receives a relevant strength adaptation.

I know I'm probably a bad person for saying this, but in my honest opinion seeing a high-school girl like that will either be the most normal thing ever or freaky as fuck without powers.

Since the discussion bounced around a bit on the Discord -

If you guys choose to not grab the Rumbling over the course of the adaptations, then you will have still have some way of getting a Roar and a Beam. I just... Haven't figured what exactly that would be if you guys completely choose not to do so.

Going with this for the moment, but I feel like a potential question is if we'll get another chance at any Minor adaptations? Because that could be a relevant thing.
