One dimensional object means that it can have a length, it can't have width or depth but it can have length, in fact it must have have length (or equivalent first dimension) for it to be one dimensional. One dimensional object is a point source, as in it has no dimensions only a location.
Essence
Edit:
That is actually perfectly fine, it is treated as a point from perpendicular directions as you mentioned however I was complaining about the use of zero dimensional, (the same applys to two, three, four etc dimensional objects as long as they have only countable (that is to say there can be an infinite number of points, but they can all be found at catorgatised) points on a chosen plane (likely valid), however they still have there dimensions, this is at least how I understand points). hm, I wonder if she was saying it was one dimensional in the sense of only having length, or perhaps if the one dimension was actually the connection line between Autochthon and Bet, if it is the connection line and she can see it that would be usefulIt's essence-physics. A point can be one-dimensional!
Or maybe the dimension is perpendicular to our dimensions, making it look like a point?
