[X] Heal and recover from your wounds under the care of Doctor Zaia

While we are in a magical setting, we aren't yet privy to any of the miraculous medicines it brings.
Better to keep away any chanes of wounds going bad, lest we incur permanent malusrs.
The fight cost nearly half of the MC's health, ya know?

I'd fucking love to get a tighter grab onto the men at arms, or to spend time with the kitty, but logically there is only "get better" for now.

I'm convinced, I'd rather not have our wounds become infected.

One thing I kind of straggled with was the decision on whether or not to make a challenge to Marco. I mean on the one side more damage is always good, but on the other hand AC was Roland's main ace in that fight and the only person he would be protecting would be he cat and it did not really need the help so I decided against it. In the future I think I will have the use of challenge as part of the vote since it did not feel like a decision i should be making, both in terms of crunch and fluff.

Waiting for QM to throw fortitude saves vs. infection if we don't get the wounds looked at. That tends to kill people more than the injury itself.

Wait, we were sleeping while wearing armor even thought we didnt suspect a mutiny? Wasnt there a mechanic for that in Pathfinder? Well, i'm glad that it isnt going to be used since while its realistic, it does delay the game and makes the GMs night ambushes harder

I will say that is doubtful we will ever get magic healing. And if we do I bet we have to sacrafise sheep for the magic to work or something.
We are not playing in a world that is that low-magic.

Even the meanest Level 2 NPC-Adept can cast Cure Minor Wounds to ensure that healing goes a good way.
This is, as far as I can tell, still Pathfinder on a lower level-niveau, not some GoT-esque setting.

Well I am going based on what the rules said.
E6, this is a low magic setting where magic is precious and hard to get your hands on

Mechanics wise, without expert care, the PC will be fully healed in three days - and am assuming an experienced campaigner will know how to ward off infections. Given we are not even seeing land yet or expecting further combat, that's pretty acceptable.

[X] Smooth over the transition of some of your men to sailor roles alongside the remaining loyal crew

Okay, this is a point to poke DP at.

@DragonParadox, the rate of healing and the chance of disease has always been mechanically swept under the rug in dnd, but the character we are playing as is from reasonably realistic historic setting.

Do you treat HP as the general "all surface wounds until it reaches zero, then the characters luck runs out and they die"?
You kinda did admit to doing so in ASWAH, when faced with the discrepancy between the the hundred-hp Mage child, compared to twelve-hp adult warrior?

If the hp not dipping below a certain percent means the character (In our case, the MC) hadn't suffered anything that can reasonably go bad, I'd change my vote

You are on a medieval galley and have just been cut by a knife that was who knew where. Anything that breaks the skin can cause an infection, or as pathfinder mechanically calls it filth fever.
