There's a method to my madness, I promise. The point is that while it's hyped up as the Thousand Sons being extremely good Psykers, Magnus in particular is... Honestly kind of dumb?

He's easily led along, he stuggles to predict what other people might do in reaction to his actions, and while he has tremendous mystical knowledge, most of it is stuff other people taught him rather than insights gleaned himself.

Warhammer 40K doesn't consider intelligence to be particularly valuable, but when it exists, it can often reach memetic levels. Like Creed, let's be an actual Tactical Genius before we're a wizard, and thus, we don't need to solve all of our problems with warp magic that definitely won't turn on us for some reason.

As a terran born marine mayhaps our warcry can be "For Unity" or "Remember their Thunder", i like the thunder warriors so anything that harkens to them is kino
