[ ] The Path of the Water Dragon
[ ] Option 3
[ ] The Tendo Dojo
To the Tendo Dojo it is. You should introduce yourself to the people Ranma's living with right now, since you'll probably be coming over a lot to play anyway.
It's a very short walk before you're at the front door of a rather old but nice-looking dojo; it's pretty big too, maybe even a little bigger than your family's dojo.
You knock at the door and wait impatiently, rocking back and forth on your heels until the door is opened by a kind-looking young woman.
"Hello?" she says questioningly.
"Hi! I'm Ryuko Tensei, and I just moved here. This is the Tendo Dojo, right?" you ask, just to make sure.
"Why yes it is. It's nice to meet you, Ryuko-chan; my name's Kasumi Tendo. Would you like to come inside?" she asks with a warm smile.
"Yes, please. Thank you very much, Kasumi-san."
"So what house did your family move into, Ryuko-chan?" Kasumi-san asks once you're inside, turning to the sink to wash some plates and cups for you to use for tea and snacks.
"Oh, my family's not moving in with me. I'm living with Tofu-sensei," you answer.
There's a loud crash as Kasumi drops a plate she was in the middle of scrubbing, causing it to break on the floor. Ignoring your concern, Kasumi-san stares at you for a moment with fearful eyes. "Living with… Tofu-sensei?" she echoes.
"Yeah. He's an old friend of the family and I begged Mom and Dad to let me come to Nerima, so they asked Tofu-sensei if I could stay with him," you say, a little worried. "Um… are you okay, Kasumi-san?"
Kasumi sighs in relief. "Oh, thank goodness. What's wrong with me, I can't believe I thought for a second he would ever…" she mutters to herself as she begins picking up the shards of the broken plate. Still a little concerned, you go over to help her. Though still seeming a little distracted, she thanks you for it and quickly washes some dishes and lays out snacks for you.
"Sorry about that, Ryuko-chan, I really should have known better than to think Tofu-sensei would ever do something like that with a girl as young as you," Kasumi apologizes as she sits down.
"Something like what?" you ask.
"Um… So why were you so insistent on moving here to Nerima, Ryuko-chan?" Kasumi asks, flustered.
"Because Dad heard from Tofu-sensei that Ranma was living here now, and I wanted to see him. I haven't gotten to see him for more than a year, now," you say, realizing she doesn't really want to tell you and you probably don't want to know anyway.
You really regret pressing for answers on Mom and Dad's "special wrestling matches" when you were younger...
"You know Ranma-kun?" Kasumi asks.
Just as the door opens behind you, you give your answer. "Yeah. Ranma's my brother!"
For a moment there's silence, then you hear the sound of someone being struck on the head with a fist. "Genma, you cad! How could you do such a thing to Nodoka-san!?" a voice yells. Turning around, you see Uncle Genma rubbing his head and glaring at a black-haired man with a mustache.
"Uncle Genma, you're here!" you gasp.
"Wait, 'Uncle'?" the mustached man says with a blink.
"Um, Father, I think we should let Ryuko-chan finish explaining," Kasumi-san says. "Ryuko-chan, what do you mean when you say that Ranma is your brother?"
"We're blood brothers! We swore an oath and drank some sake that Ranma stole from Uncle Genma, so it's official!" you say cheerfully.
"Wait, that's where it went!? I was saving that for a special occasion!" Uncle Genma roars. "That little thieving-!"
"Oh, so that's all it was. Er, sorry about that, Genma," the mustached man says sheepishly with a forced laugh.
"I'll get you back for that later, So'un" Uncle Genma mutters with a glare.
---
With that misunderstanding clear (you realize that you really should clarify next time what you mean when you say that Ranma's your brother), the four of you sit at the table so you can explain yourself fully.
"So you came all the way here just to find your sworn brother? And you even visited China trying to find him?" Kasumi-san's father summarizes.
"Pretty much. Him and Ryoga, actually, but I think I'll need Ranma's help for that. Ryoga's more likely to find his way back to us when we're both around for some reason."
"Well, that's a very impressive story. It's not often you hear about that kind of sisterly devotion," Tendo-san says, a single tear running down his cheek. "To travel so far from home just to see them again…"
"Um, Father, you're starting to tear up again," Kasumi-san observes.
Tendo-san coughs into his hand awkwardly and rubs his eyes. "Yes, right, sorry about that. Lost my head again. Regardless, we'd be happy to have you over so you can reunite properly with Ranma. I'm sure he'll be ecstatic to see you, and Akane too once she meets you."
"Who's Akane?" you ask.
"My youngest daughter; she's Ranma's fiancée!" Tendo-san declares proudly. "They're going to reunite the two schools of Anything-Goes Martial Arts together!"
Wait, Ranma's
engaged!? He's going to get
married!?
In the aftermath of that bombshell, your immediate reaction is to feel…
[ ] Upset
She's going to take your brother away from you! Ranma won't have any time to train or spar with you anymore if he's married!
[ ] Excited
Wait, if Ranma's your brother, then she'll be your sister-in-law. You'll get a sister! You can spar with her and talk about girl stuff! Like… um… actually, what is "girl talk," anyway? You usually spend all your time with boys like Ranma and Ryoga…
In fact, everyone thought your old middle school was an all-boys school because you were the only girl there. Something about there being a lot of delinquents and it being too rowdy? You never had any problems like that, though… Oh wait, you're getting off-track. Sister!
[ ] Something else?
